How far behind are you?

I just went through all the pics from 2009 and I have a minimum of 10 layouts that need to be made. There is plenty of opportunity for more than 10, but that is what I need to do just to feel OK about the kids scrapbook which is VERY thin so far for 2009. I've got to do 2 karate tournaments, a concert, baseball, Halloween and Christmas, a trip to the hospital, crazy faces, 1st school dance, and Labor Day at the camp.
How about you?

I don't scrap in any particular order and for some reason I don't seem to worry about being on a schedule. Many of my friends get stressed about it, I feel like that takes the fun out of it.

I'm way behind since I don't scrap in order. I scrap whenever from pics from last week to pics from my childhood

I gave up scrapping in order. I organized all my photos with file cards for each event and holidays. Then I can use papers/products I find to scrap. Takes a lot of the pressure off and I figure if I have the pics printed they will get scrapped eventually. I usually print a ton of photos when they have printing sales like this weekend, 10 cent prints so I'm planning on printing at least 500.

I don't scrapbook chronologically. I'm a "moment" scrapbooker, or whatever it's called. I just scrap randomly. Whatever stories I want to tell or whatever inspires me at the moment. I thought most people had moved to that recently as opposed to scrapbooking chronologically.

Let me just admit that my oldest is 20 and I've only done about eight layouts for him...talk about being behind! I've given up trying to do anything chronologically, so now it's hit or miss and whatever happens to move me at the moment.

I've got stuff all the way back to 2004 to finish....
I just jump around based on what is printed and what I'm inspired by. My goal is to have at least the first 5 years of each girl done by the time they graduate high school
For Emily I've got 2 years done and Kaitlyn I have 1. Not going so well....but I don't know really what I have left to do either as I keep skipping the box with the oldest pictures in it.

For several years I ran consistently about 18 months behind, then recently I got about 2 years behind. My goal this summer is to catch back up to 18 months.
I don't scrap in straight chronological order but pretty close; that's how I order pics anyway. I have a couple digi layouts done ahead of where I am in paper, but also had to leave a spot in the scrapbook for a digi DPS I haven't finished yet! And just recently got the title page done for the book I'm just finishing up w/these last 2 LO's, so I have to come up w/another one soon! (My books don't cover like a year at a time so I can't just do that for the title pages.)

I print in order and am about 18 mos behind on that but after I scrap what I have printed I may skip a year and start right around Dec of 2009.

I have to scrap chronologically....my brain can't function without that sense of order. LOL My biggest fear with getting behind is that I will forget all the sweet/funny/memorable details that I want to put in the journaling. My memory is getting worse and worse, so I am going to buckle down and get these done before I forget.

lol, I wish I had only 10. I have my trip to Scotland, dance shows, christmas, birthdays for three kids, trip home to see my niece for the first time, thanksgiving with grandma and grandpa...the list goes on! And then I have 2010, with birth of a new baby and all the fun that goes with that. So, now I have the family album to keep up and the first year album of child number 4! Ill do your 10 pages if you take my bazillion:)

Technically, I guess I'm not behind at all because I'm like Leslie. I don't do chronological. I just scrap what hits me.

What she said! I scrap for the fun of it. I don't want to be "caught up" then that would mean I don't have any choices for ideas. I like to skip around all the time, depending on what my mood it or the occasion.
