I am trying this program out and am stumped. When I have my photoshop layout open, how do I copy and paste a file from acdsee? In photoshop, I went to file>open, then tried to find acdsee, finally found it in program files but it only opened up a bunch of files, not anything I could use. I tried to open the desktop icon but that didn't work either. Have I got a glitchy program or something or is it just me? It doesn't help that I'm not veryf amiliar with vista either. I'm just having a really bad computer day here.

I'm sure it is something simple that I am missing but really feel stupid about this.

Thx Grandma Flowers...I was feeling kind of stupid, thinking I was missing some real simple thing here but I finally found an answer. I had to actually go into tools and configure editor to accept photoshop. Now it works like a charm (until I hit the next wall lol).

Its working fine now.

Hi Rae - I think I "know" you from another message board?? maybe POTP?

I'm using ACDSee too for organizing all my digi files and I love it! Glad you got the editor part figured out.

I'm not sure how long you've been using ACDSee but here's a quick tip. When I'm working on a digi LO, I open my image basket and drag all the images I want to use on my LO in there. Then, with PSE minimized on my toolbar, I select all the images I want to use that are in my image basket and drag them into PSE by hovering the toolbar, which forces PSE to open full size, then you can drop them all into your bin in PSE.

Hope this helps.
