I really am split between both worlds!! I love eating paste, making a mess, really getting into the creative process and creating depth and textures on my paper layouts. Plus I have hundreds of photos waiting for me in my craft room!!
But I also love to like that screen! The undo button is a big one, but even more so is the immediacy for me. I can take a photo and have a page completed in a hour of that photo being snapped. Ideas are fresh, memories are accurate and I love being able to design my own papers, and products, or use images from online without having to print.
Now, there's a 3rd category for me, hybrid. I am having an awesome time making my own elements, and printing them to incorporate into my paper scrapping. Being able to tweak my photos & enhance both my digi & paper layotus has stretched my creativity so much! And most of it is thanks to the awesome inspiration on this board! You gals rock!
I am and always will be a paste eater, but I LOVE digi now too! Favorite things about digi:
1) Can recolor and resize anything.
2) Can "cut" pp into a shape and if I don't like how it comes out, I can just cut it again.
3) Never run out of anything in my stash.
4) No matter how huge the stash it takes up no room.
5) Can whip out a digi layout much faster than a paper one, and don't have anything to clean up.
6) When I have the urge to scrap but don't have the time or desire to take out all my paper stiff, I can lick the screen.
7) No glue!
8) Layers!!! I can turn layers on and off to see how the layout will look with or without something I've added.
9) Can move anything around after it has been put in place.
As much as I love digi I will never give up paste eating tho. I still can't stop buying pp and embellies at the store, and I still need to be in a pile of paper and punches and scraps and brads and bling... so I didn't switch over, I just developed another addiction.

I'm trying to learn digi and have two digi pages in my gallery. I guess my favorite part is if you mess something up, you can start from scratch and not have to waste any supplies. You can move things around if you don't like where you put them. Also, no clutter and clean up. I will always be a paste eater probably, but I do like to play around in digi. I also like the convenience of being able to download a kit and get instant gratification if I find something I want for a special page.

I love how I can manipulate the elements any way I choose, as well as the photos, etc.

I love the portability! If I'm in the middle of a layout and heading away for the weekend, I quickly plop it on the memory stick or EHD and I can finish it on the laptop.
Also, my dad has a few favorite layouts that he mentioned he wanted in an album so he didn't have to go to my gallery online to see them. So in about 20 minutes, I printed a half dozen 8x8 pages for him on my home printer and he had a simple father's day gift.
