Elise, you can use your CD writer, you'll just use more disks. I am planning to give my backup CD's to my mother. That way if God forbid, something happened here at my home, a backup copy would be available to me somewhere else.
On a molecular level, I'm very busy.

That's what I do too, Tracy, every time I visit my Mom (who lives in a different state) I take her all the latest backup CDs to hold for me.I help plan the disaster recovery backup for our systems at work, and we recommend a minimum of 2 backup sources, one onsite and one offsite, so I try to stick to that plan at home too.
