I hope my question makes sense as I am new to this whole digi world.Ok, I had downloaded the 30 day trial version of PSE 5.0 a while back. From my understanding I could go and buy the 5.0 software and put in my registration code and continue using what I downloaded, is that right? Now, I see that 6.0 is out. So, should I buy 6.0?Do I have to uninstall the 5.0 and then install the 6.0?Have I totally confuddled you?TIA!!
I don't do digital, but I had 4.0 and just upgrade to 6.0 and I found 6.0 to be a hecka lot easier to use. Not sure about the 5.0 version. but I know someone will be able to help ya!!!!! edited: because I am a GOOBER!!

*snicker* sus, I don't do digotal either! I'm no so easily confuddled Rhonda. I currently use PSE3 and have the trial for 5 on the same pc. So I think you're safe keeping your trial of 5 and downloading 6 also.as for differences, i've not a clue. I haven't seen 6 yet. I know that 3 and 5 are very similar function wise. The screen setup looks a bit different, like they moved a few boxes around is all. Which is why I haven't suckered into buying 5 yet, if it does the same as 3 I'm still happy.
Thanks for the feedback!I figure if I am gonna buy anyways, I might as well buy the lastest. Also, it has to work with Vista. There will be a learning curve for me regardless of the version.I wanted to buy it this weekend but dh said that was one of his good Christmas ideas and I was totally ruining Christmas.. You see, the other day I went and bought this really nice cable knit, button up sweater...apparently dh was going to buy that this week as well. OOooppss.I am trying my best to hold out but I keep looking at all the cool digi stuff here...X-mas isn't that far away right?
lol that's too funny! I agree, if you're going for it and $$ isn't a problem then get the goods! weeeell, xmas isn't too far away but to wait that long to digi scrap... hmm, I just couldn't do it
I've got 3.0 and 1.0 on my computer.I was rather surprised that 3.0 did not delete the old version.I got confused at first and kept clicking the old icon and getting the old version.
I have 3.0 and 5.0 both on my laptop and both versions are very similar. I really liked 5.0 and it was a ton easier to use. I have no clue about 6.0.
I don't know if this will happen again this year, but I got PSE 5 last year on Black Friday at Best Buy for $50. It was advertised in the paper and I was planning to get it sometime... so I snatched it up. Oh, and I am definitely not a morning person but it was still on sale when I got there, maybe around noon? and I didn't even have to wait in a long line at that time. The lady behind me said she had been there earlier and it was awful.

God bless America!!!
I need to upgrade my PSE, since I'm still on 2.0 , but now I think I'll wait until Black Friday, since I already planned to try for an additional EHD that morning anyway.
Thanks for the info about black Friday and Best Buy. I should have some reward zone coupons coming for my new dryer purchase. I do hate those crowds though!!
I recently went from the trial version of 5.0 to the official 5.0 upgrade. I didn't lose anything in the transition. I haven't checked out 6.0 yet, but I'm pretty happy with the version I'm running now.

do they have a trial version of PSE 6.0? If so, try it before actually buying. I am just as confused as you. debating on whether to buy one or stick with what I am using now.
Blessings to ALL!

I still have Version 3.0 on my computer, although I am using Version 4.0 (Mac) right now.....
I think they had a trial of Version 6 when it was in beta testing. But it doesn't look like Adobe is offering a free trial at this time.
