Scrap a Day, January 18th
Hey Cherries. Expecting rain today and a high of 46, then over the next few days our temps will start to plummet. Crazy weather. I have no plans to go anywhere all weekend. Expecting a grocery delivery today and other than that my plan is to be in my scrap room all day. I actually scrapped yesterday and have a layout done! Going to work on more challenges today.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning Barb. Have been watching some of the news about the weather that is coming up north, seems a little scary for this southern girl.  Please Cherries, stay safe and stay warm.  Sending warm thoughts your way.

Not sure if I will be scrapping today, we are headed out to go bedroom furniture shopping and then home for the Chiefs game. Happy it is a long weekend.  😊

Brrr here again too.  And only into low 50’s today.  I didn’t get all my errands done yesterday so probably go out for a bit this afternoon.    My boys were here for dinner last night.  They make me laugh.  Like happy little boys when I tell them meat loaf and mashed potatoes for dinner.  I make it country style with brown gravy instead of tomato sauce.   And although the pellet stove is still out of commission, the garbage disposal is once again working.  Makes doing dishes so much easier. Lol

have a good Saturday and as usual, lol, stay warm

Hey Cherries 😊 lol I stayed up too late again and am struggling to wake up.  I work at 4 today and they're calling for snow tonight, so I'm expecting to be busy. (I'm not even sure how much they're expecting but people go nuts! 😂) I'll have Omer come in and pick up a few things, JUST in case.
I worked on a layout after work last night. I love how it's coming along! I have a few days off, so I'll be getting crafty! 🙂
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️☺️

Re: Scrap a Day, January 18th
Hello, all!
Our temps are in the deep freeze again.  But at least we had a day of melting, and I drove today to a baby shower at church.  I ate too many goodies, though.  Delicious tiny bite size cheesecakes, some chocolate chip, some raspberry, some chocolate peanut butter.  Oh my goodness!  So good.  They didn’t have a cake.  This was better than cake. They served sausage egg casserole, fruit and veggies, too.  I didn’t know it was going to be a brunch, and I had eaten my oatmeal.  So, now I feel I had lunch!  I took some photos, maybe do a layout of it.

i did not get to play with my new toys yesterday!  We had a potluck last night , so had to cook for that.  Also, with doing my PT exercises twice a day, I hurt and put the heat pad on for while.  Then I get sleepy, and rest. LOL
Hopefully this afternoon, I will play.  Right now I have the heat pad on my shoulder and watching videos.

I hope you all get some crafty time today.

Re: Scrap a Day, January 18th
We had basketball games this morning.  DGS's team won and DGD's team lost.  We were home by noon and I did a bit of laundry.  Our weather is crazy!  It's 42 degrees and sunny and tomorrow we are expecting snow with plummeting temps.  Our SIL flew back from their snowbird home on Friday because he is doing the sound and lighting for an inaugural ball tomorrow.  Looks like they will be having more snow than us in the D.C. area.  He was not looking forward to the travel in bad weather.  Hopefully all goes well and he is back in FL on Tuesday.

It’s so funny how boys never really grow up isn’t it?! Lol! Glad your disposal is working but sorry the pellet stove is still out of order.

That baby shower d sounds fun! Sorry your shoulder is hurting so much. I injured my back and in the process hurt my shoulder. The shoulder pain was the worst ever!!! Just keep it moving because I’ll tell you from experience that you do NOT want it to freeze up!!! Hope you get some kind of fun time in today!

Brrrrrr Vicki!!! Snow in DC is never a good thing. But to have it on Inauguration Day! What a nightmare!!! I remember one time it took us 4 hours to go 20 miles and the ONLY reason we made it home at all was because my friend had picked us up in his big Bronco! Not fun at all!

Hope you get some fun scrappy time!

Re: Scrap a Day, January 18th
Hey Cherries! We slept in late this morning. Poor Steve is hurting from all the wood chopping. He’s going to hook up the propane heater so he doesn’t have to work so hard on the wood stove fire. Next year will be better. We will have drier wood then.

There’s so much happening today! There’s a zoom crop with one of my Facebook groups, an online crop with another one and 2 football championships today!!! I want to do both crops AND watch both games! But I can’t scrap and pay attention to the games. :( So I’ll probably go back and forth. I also need to get more of my paper over here and I’m trying to figure out the best way to do that… So I might just work on that instead.

I have one more Hanukkah challenge to do and I started it last night. First it was going to be a single page. Now it’s a 2 pager and I need to figure out how I want to do the embellies .

Our temps dropped down into the 30s and now we have some pretty thick fog. So interesting to watch it! So far no snow in the forecast but there’s been fresh snow on the mountain behind us. The one in front is much smaller than the other one so when it starts getting snow we will probably get some too. I think we’d both be happy if we didn’t get any more snow this winter! Not very likely though.

Stay safe and warm Dear Cherries!!!
