Yeah... Never gonna happen. It just gets worse.
I was looking in a basket I have that has stationery in it to see if I have a larger size unprinted card because the pocket die I have is too big for a regular A2 card. I have a lot of stationery I need to use!! Some of it is printed stationery - I had gotten some really cute Mary's bears Hallmark stationery (cards and writing paper!) at a discount store several years ago that was 2/$1 (cards) and $1.29 (writing paper w/envies) that came in little 'portfolio' boxes. My problem is I always loved stationery but was never good for writing much.
Should have bought a ton of stamps when they started doing the 'forever' ones!! *Sigh*
I also have some postcard blanks and debating whether or not I should just use them for card fronts.

I have an opposite situation!

My mom was a hoarder. Not like the ones on the TV show - she was more of a pack rat hoarder - everything clean and neat - in boxes and shelves packed from floor to ceiling in every room. One bathroom wasn’t even accessible. Anyhow, when cleaning out her house (which took two 20yd dumpsters) I found literally $1000 of postage stamps. Not up to collector’s standards (full pages) since some were used from each set, but able to use as postage. I haven’t bought a single stamp since 2016 - I have fun playing “fun with math” adding them up to the current rate. As first class mail becomes less utilized, I sometimes think I’ll end up leaving some to my kids!

WOW!! No such luck here!

Oh my gosh, I'm in the same boat. When I was doing a lot of fundraising mailings, I'd buy 100s of sheets of stamps. When the org shut down, the CEO said I could keep the stamps. Between envelopes of those plus (wisdom now, FOMO then) the rolls of Forever stamps I bought way back when postage was 41 cents, I haven't had to buy stamps in years. I am not having as much fun with the math though. I have LOTS of penny and 3-cent stamps...and envelopes are only so big!
