Scrap a Day, January 5th
Hey Cherries. Lazy Sunday morning here. Got a lot of my scrap room cleaned up yesterday. It’s getting close. I may even be able to play in there today. But first I have to shake off the lazies.

Have a great Sunday Cherries.

Good morning, Barb!  Same here.  Cold and sunny with a winter storm watch.  It will be our first "real" snowfall in years.  The kids are already planning to be off tomorrow.  A good day to stay in my craft space.

Hi, cherries. Moving slow here. Winter torpor has definitely set in. Supposed to go back to work tomorrow, guess we'll see, because of all the sleet and freezing rain and later, snow, we are getting.

A big order from the store should be heading my way hopefully next week, too--it will be my first complete set of held orders with the new shipping policies, and I'm excited to crack into it. :)

Re: Scrap a Day, January 5th
Hi, Barb & Vikki.  We are iced and snowed in here.  Church was even canceled.  Blizzard conditions, and cold.  Warning of power outages, and to leave water dripping.  But it looks beautiful out.  So, I am just sitting here, drinking hot tea, surfing ACOT and watching it snow.  Still in pjs and robe and have my feet up and blanket over me.  Is that the laziest?  My craft room is a shambles.  I am thinking of taking a lot of stuff downstairs to storage area, so I can see what I am doing in my room.  I don’t know if I want to make cards, scrap or work on my junk journals?  Do you think I have too many pots going?  So, instead, I sit here.
Enjoy your Sunday, however you spend it.

Re: Scrap a Day, January 5th
Good morning Cherries, jealous of all of you with that beautiful snow but hoping that you all stay safe.  It has warmed up here already, we are at 70.  Keeping the windows open as long as possible.

Busy morning with the car wash, Target run and installing my new printer. I have a Canon Mega Tank that I bought during the pandemic and LOVED that printer. Was giving me all sorts of trouble so went out and bought the same exact model yesterday. I can't even be mad, over the last 4 1/2 years, I probable made over 50,000 copies and photo prints. It served me well.  Highly recommend this printer if you are in the market.

Hoping to scrap a bit today before heading back to work tomorrow.  Have a great day everyone.

Hey Cherries 😊 enjoying a snowfall today lol but it's VERY VERY cold out! Work kicked my tail again yesterday 😂 The governor declared a state of emergency yesterday lol so those who didn't shop Friday, shopped yest for sure! 😂
It's VERY pretty outside but VERY cold! I'm in my thermals and will probably add another layer soon.
Lol coffee first! 🤣
I'm sure to play today! It's a mess and a half, but it is what it is! I don't know if I 'lll tidy up today, but I DEFINITELY want to play!! 😄
Stay blessed, warm and safe Cherries! 🍒 ❤️😊

Re: Scrap a Day, January 5th
I have been busy this morning. Was up early and continuing to work on Bermuda album. Making headway. Had to stop and finish sending photos to Persnickity Prints while their sale was still on. Can go forward with Bermuda when the rest of photos arrive.

Then I went across the hall where the grandkids play and that room was trashed, so got in there and picked up. Dusted and will run the vacuum around shortly. What a mess they made. Mostly the 2 younger ones.

They were all here yesterday either shoveling or playing in the snow. We have 10-12 inches out there and more expected tonight . I haven’t been any where in almost a week. They don’t need one more car on icy roads.
They also brought up my sofa table and I could get all my photos back out on display.

Need to go and shower now.

Re: Scrap a Day, January 5th
Sunny and coolish out.  Expected high of low 60’s today. The weather has really changed here in the last 80 years since I was born.  As a kid and teenager, I can remember needing a sweater by end of September and plain old darn cold weather by mid October through at least Easter. I haven’t even owned a coat in the last maybe 30 years.  No need for one.    I guess that’s evolution or something scientific like that.

as I was thinking about going to bed a bit after midnight last night, my sister popped up on Messenger.  We started  video chatting and didn’t quit till my phone warned me I only had 1% battery left.  It was after 2am.  She has insomnia and stays up late like that a lot.  I on the other hand am dragging a bit this morning.    But nothing much to do today anyhow so guess it’s ok.

have a warm cozy wintery Sunday
