Merry Christmas!
Happy Hanukkah!
Hope you all have a wonderful day with your families. We had a nice time with my sister and her family last night. Today DD and family will be coming over for lasagna and to open presents. But right now I am going back to sleep. I am beat. lol.
Have a wonderful day Cherries.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! We are recuperating today after our family day yesterday. Lots of love, fun and festivities. Youngest DD and kids are visiting with other family all day today. Oldest DD and her DH are at a local shelter handing out for the "Toys for Tots" program since early this morning. Wishing everyone a blessed day with family and/or friends.

I wish you all a merry celebration of the birth of our Lord, Jesus! It has been a good time of study during this Advent season, I'm feeling more grateful than ever.
I'm getting anxious to do more crafty projects with paper now. Last night I downloaded a few pictures and sent them to Walgreens. So, now I hope to play in my craft room some, instead of the sewing room for a while. lol
My DD and her friend will be over for dinner, but it is going to be simple since it is a last minute thing. Plans to visit my cherished DGD and all was halted when two of the littles were running fever the day before. Finally this morning the babies are fever free. we talked on the phone, just makes me miss them all the more. In October the 6 of them stayed with me because the Navy had nothing at the Lodge so they came to me, 3.5 hours away! I hadn't seen them in person for 5 years! Facetime is nice, but not the real thing!

Merry Christmas and Hanukkah Cherries!
Lol I woke up early and am going to nap!
DGD gave me a gift bag full of beautifully wrapped crafting things, a coffee mug, a sweet card. AND her and her boyfriend ordered us some breakfast!
Been chatting with family and friends ALL morning and now I'm gonna nap!
Beautiful day!
I REALLY treasure you, Dear Cherries!

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah Dear Cherries. Just stopping in before family arrives. Have been making appetizers all morning and will be cooking for 15 later this afternoon. First Christmas morning without ODS, he is with his girlfriend. A few tears but it's all good. This is how it's supposed to be. Wishing you all a beautiful blessed day full of love and happiness.

But give me holly, bold and jolly,
Honest, prickly, shining holly;
Pluck me holly leaf and berry
For the day when I make merry.

good morning. Hope all are having a good day. I’m sitting here quietly in a clean house with nothing really to do. Later today I’ll put the Christmas tablecloth on and set the table for just 5 older folks. Younger son is doing all the cooking except for the funeral potato casserole which I will make. After dinner, older DS will clean up and do dishes. Oh well. lol It’s more than many get and I’m grateful for what I have.
have a wonderful holiday!

Oh Joyce Ann! I can so relate to not seeing your DGD and the kids for so long. Until this summer I hadn't seen my DD and her 2 sons for 6 years too. It is very hard when you live so far away from each other! So glad you at least got to Face Time with them!!!
And yes this year we are much more grateful for our Lord Jesus and all He has done for us especially this year!!! He is so very good!!!

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas Dear Cherries!!! I hope you're all having a great day today. Prayers for blessings and thanks for all of you here!
We are just spending the day at home watching football and looking at our devices.
It's VERY stormy outside so we're not even going over to the cabin for anything today. Steve has been out to see the birds a couple of times. He was late getting up this morning and they were all in the coop until about 9 AM. He usually goes out sometime between 7 and 8! The geese and the rooster were complaining loudly because they wanted out and they wanted food! LOLOL! The geese want to free range as they don't care about the rain and wind. But we're not letting them out because we don't want the chickens out at all. LOL!
Otherwise, not much happening here but that's okay. Only 2 other presents are better than being in my house this Christmas at last! First is Jesus' birth and second is my daughter Michele's birth. She was born on December 29. I'm very very happy and so very grateful for all we have!!!
