Scrap a Day, December 3rd

Hey Cherries. Cold again today. In the 30s but our wind chill remains in the 20s. Waiting on the cable guy this morning to see if he can figure out what the issue is with us constantly losing our connection. Then I have an eye doctor appointment this afternoon. Then back to working on Christmas presents. Got all the packages that came in opened and sorted yesterday. More will arrive today. I am pretty much done shopping other than a few gift cards I have to pick up. The wrapping party will be next.
Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning Barb, hope you can get your internet issue resolved.
Off today from school, have an appointment with the "lady doctor" and completely dreading it!!!! I know it has to be done but I really really am NOT a fan of these appointments.
Other than that, hoping to scrap something today. Wishing everyone a great day

We are thankfully having some warmer days for us- around 40ish. Yesterday there was no wind blowing and I got out and walked. Took a bit for my hip to get warmed up, but ended up going about 1.5 miles. Pretty good for me these days.
I got things cleaned and most of the decorations up. Knee was tired after going up and down the stairs quite a few times with boxes. Now, to get the tree up. It’s now a skinny tree and much more manageable. The minion didn’t get to see it yesterday as her dad picked her up. The oldest granddaughter seems to be having fun creating elf antics for her. It’s all about the magic.
Today, I need to make a grocery run. Can’t believe it’s been a week since I was last there. Pay some bills and hopefully get our tree up. Always lots to do during this busy season. Scrapping sure takes a back seat.
Happy Tuesday!

Good morning y'all. Super busy work day yesterday. Had some overflow with emails, so I took care of those first thing this morning.
Jasmine's appt went well yesterday. He checked her all over and didn't feel anything, so we are putting her on an NSAID for 10 days, along with CBD oil. If she's better and stops limping, cool beans. But if it doesn't help, then schedule her for x-rays. She also has a lump on her right shoulder. It is a sebaceous cyst. They tried to drain it because it was soft at top, but no bueno. It is really really thick, so we will need to schedule her for a surgery to remove it. It is actually a bigger lump than we had expected, once they shaved a little bit around it to see if better. With all of her fur, it looked little.
They gave her an injection of pain meds yesterday so I could start her on the pills today. We will see how she is in 10 days. If she is still limping, then I can schedule her for the x-rays on top of the surgery to remove the cyst since they will need to sedate her to do the x-rays. But if she's okay, keep her on the cbd oil and just schedule the cyst removal when we can.
I was also curious about her weight as she is almost 100 lbs (98 to be exact). Her sibling Shelby is 75 lbs. Jasmine isn't fat, and she has a waist line and you can feel her ribs. He said she could lose a few pounds, but that's pretty much it. She is so tall and long legged and her chest cavity is so large (that's the pyranse in her), she just has a large bone structure.
It's kind of too early for us to see how the pain meds are doing. She seems to be able to rest better, so I'm sure that's pretty helpful.
Anywho...
...back to work for me. Got alot of things going on. This is my busy time of the year work-wise so I always expect it to be crazy
Hope everyone has a great day.

Definitely a busy time, Leslee!
I'm proud of you for keeping up with your walking - I haven't been outside in a few days. I have no excuse, other than it's cold!
Hope all your errands go well today, and I bet your tree turns out so pretty!
How sweet of the grands to do Elf on a shelf and play with each other like that. I think my siblings and I would have had a lot of fun with it, too! Kids today are so lucky!
Be blessed, Leslee!

Aww Brandy, I'll say a prayer for Jasmine!
It's hard when our fur babies aren't well! Hugs to you, too, as I would need hugs if it was me! So hard!
Stay blessed!

Out for a bit this morning to do a couple of returns that needed taken care of. Home for lunch and then headed to youngest DD's for the day. She has pneumonia and we are going to help with the kids. Never a dull moment, even when you're retired. I finished my cards for the December card challenge and need to get a photo and post them while I have a few minutes. Otherwise, it will be later in the week.

Good afternoon! I finally took a much needed shower and washed my hair. Since we aren’t going anywhere (DH says it looks like he gave me a black eye), I’ll just put on clean PJ’s and air dry my hair. I’m determined to get my December challenge posted, pick a winner from November and hopefully start a challenge.

Kristin, other than dental appointments I hate those appointments more than any! I never feel good afterwards. Hope you’re able to have a great day anyway!!!

Our weather is so similar Leslee! We were actually at 54 yesterday!!! Glad you were able to get your hip to cooperate so you could walk!!! Have fun decorating too!

Wow. I slept late this morning. Sunny hazy blue skies and no breeze even. 61 today which is 8-10 degrees above average for now but still cold nights in upper 30’s. And as long as it’s like this no pellet stove at night. Pooh
not much today. Staples for Christmas stationary so I can do my aunts Christmas letter and addy labels. Then over to FedEx to get some pics printed from Thanksgiving so she can put those in her Christmas cards too!! 93 and she’s still the Empress Nancy Jayne. She told me no rush since her stepson is coming up today or tomorrow to take her shopping. Just get it all to her by Thursday!!!!
thinking I will do Laura’s December card challenge today too. My cards have been done for a while but you know always seem to get some you didn’t send a card too and need a few more last minute . lol.
most importantly I need to go by grocery and get a box of drumstick icecream cones. Found just the empty box in the freezer last night.
. The horror! lol
have a tolerable Tuesday

Hey Cherries
My sleep schedule is off but I'm taking NO naps today! Y'all are my witnesses!
WELL funny story, (kind of): I LITERALLY woke up to a dead bird in my living room floor! The cats that were inside looked guilty and nonchalant and I immediately had Omer come deal with it!
DGD seemed awfully surprised when I told her about it- but maybe it was her boyfriend who let the cat in with it? IDK but I don't allow my cats to bring in animals!
Anyway lol I've been working on my holiday cards and plan to make some more today! Maybe scrapping, too, IDK yet. I work tomorrow and am glad to have this day off.
Stay blessed, Cherries!
A dead bird on your floor! That’s a cat for you!!! Lol!!! A gift for you. Lol! Hope you’re feeling better today! Have fun creating Holly!!!
