I’m struggling…
How do you organize your 49 and Market?
I currently have mine by collection. Works ok until I need a pink filmstrip or a round chipboard with a word…Then I’m pulling everything out, trying to remember what collection I saw that item.
I’ve thought about organizing by color but I am so afraid I’ll regret it.
What do you do?
I have my paper collections organized according to the categories and then in alphabetical order...such as Art Options Alena, Art Options Plum Grove, Art Options Rouge, etc. Then Color Swatch Inkwell, Color Swatch Lavender, Color Swatch Terra Cotta, etc. Next are the Spectrum and Vintage Artistry collections. Any collection that doesn't fall under one of these categories are stored in alphabetical order. I'm so obsessive....
The chipboard words, laser cuts, rub-ons, filmstrips, etc. are stored together in one area, but not in any particular order as I mix and match the collections frequently.
FYI - none of the Color Swatch collections have coordinating chipboard words.
Right now they are pretty messy from just shoving them in when
I was storing after a crop to get ready for Thanksgiving.

i'm afraid my "organization" is much more willy nilly than Vicki's lol! i have the travel lines such as Everywhere with my travel stuff, the more outdoorsy things with my outdoors stuff and everything else is sort of just mixed up together.
Some of my favorite and more generic items like filmstrips, ephemera stackers packs and the Spectrum Gardenia laser cuts stay in my bag i take to work, so i can put them on any project.
i tend to mix and match the collections, too, so basically everything else is just thrown together.
i'm sure this is no help lol!

Great post, I can’t wait to get some suggestions. Mine is a mess. I have 3 collections together and the bits and pieces, including frames, are all in one bag and it’s a mess.

I store everything in a specific collection together. I buy 13x16 inch plastic like baggies and put the 12x12 pads and everything else I have in with it so it all stays together. With 49 & Market there are so many different products. Then they go in drawers. I can sort through other collections if I need to look for something coordinating.

I put my papers , vertical in cube storage. For 49 and Market, I put collections(Rouge, color swatch etc. first, left to right, then I put the background solids , after. I have plastic bins with wheels , about 4” thick , next with Rub-ons, laser cuts , and then I have a photo box with chip words and film strips , and smaller package ephemera .

I tend to keep mine sorted by colors since I often (usually) mix lines and/or manufacturers. It's easier for me to mix and match that way or to find the color combination I am looking for

I keep each collection of papers separate then all the embellishments are together (sorted by collection). I recently bought some plastic containers with 5x7 boxes inside where I am putting all the chipboard and smaller embellishments (by collection) so they will be all in one place. It's called 5"x7" Clear 6-Case Photo Storage Keeper. It's easy to see what's inside and what colors are in it so you can decide if there's something inside you might want to use. It's an always evolving process so we will see how long this lasts

I have 49 & Market mostly just together as one manufacturer. I have all the papers together and all the unopened embellishments together.
Once I open an ephemera pack or something similar, I sort by color. I find so many of their collections work beyond the theme so I keep them sorted by color in 5x7 photo cases. I love it! But I tend to scrap more by color than by theme and I mostly use self-made "stash" kits so it works really well for me this way. Rarely am I creating a layout using JUST one manufacturer.

I think like Brandy, too.
My 49 and Market is just kept together in the cubbie, not even sorted by colour or collection. And all the embellishments are in a basket all together. I do have some of their plastic sleeves to keep laser cuts and rub ons from getting totally destroyed.
I also typically like to work with more than one manufacturer on a layout.

I buy the plastic 12 x 12 boxes from Hobby Lobby and collections that I use a lot like 49 & Market, Cocoa Vanilla, Stamperia, Simple Stories and Vicki Boutin each get a plastic box, all the paper goes in there and then also unopened ephemera packs. Once opened, I have a small box for each manufacturer where I keep all the ephemera. Hope you find something that works for you.

I store mine by collections similar to what Vicki does. Each collection is grouped by if it is from ArtOptions, color swatch, artistry etc. I do put the collections in the large zip loc bags and then I can keep all scraps together. Then I use the Totally Tiffany 12 x 6 supply storage boxes for all the embellishments. I group them by the above collectons also. I can usually get several collections in one container. They will hold 6 x 12 chipboard, ephemera, film strips etc. I like that when I go to a crop I can grab which container has the collection I am using. They have handles which also makes them easy to take on the go. I have the Kallax system from IKEA and can fit 9-10 of them on one shelf depending on the thickness of each case. I found out that by putting the embellishments with the papers in a large bag became to thick to store upright on my shelves. I have about 25 of these supply cases. One for Christmas, summer, several for Disney and travel each.

I have two bins that I store by collection but I think I need a 3rd bin since I just won some 49 and Market. And of course,I have plenty more in my basket.

I do not have a specific system right now, everything is kind of everywhere lol! Bookmarking this because there's so MANY good ideas here!

I have a wooden 4 drawer roller cart that is right next to myself work area. One of the drawers is dedicated to 49 and Market papers. I have a plastic box like others have mentioned with all of the “accessories” like rubons, die cuts, acetates, etc in it. I try to keep them I their packaging so that I know which collection they’re from.
I’m also following this thread to see if there’s a better way to store it all.

I have mine separated by collection except for the filmstrips as I don't have all the collections for those. Those I keep with my film/camera category.

So many great ideas! I use the Totally Tiffany system as well. I love it for my themes and it’s easy to just pull what I want when we travel. My problem is I end up pulling all the 49M because I don’t want to not have something with me… Example of current:
By collection
The paper follows - all in sheet protectors. So I just need to flip to find what I want.
It’s a ton of work to get it all put away - but does make it easy to pull a binder and have everything I need…. Until I need something of a certain color…
I guess for now I’m going to leave the “themes” as is. Maybe I will move all of the “color” collections together. I’m planning a big re-organization in January and this is my biggest hurdle.
