Scrap a Day, Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Cherries. I’m watching the parade and getting ready to prep and stuff my turkey. It’s raining out and 50 degrees with a feels like of 39 but the parade still goes on. After this while my turkey cooks… the dog show!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Cherries!

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!  It's raining and 50 here too.  Wish it would have been a warmer day like this past week so the kids could play outside, but oh well, they will be decorating their Grinch tree.   We are having 12 for early dinner at 1 today as the younger ones have to go to their dad's later.  The turkey smells so good already!  Have a wonderful day Cherries!

Good Morning!  It's around 45 and rainy here... I'm prepping all the goodies and rotating things in the oven while the parade is on.  We are having an early dinner at 1pm due to some older family members that didn't want to drive after dark, especially if it was raining.

I'm hoping for an afternoon nap and then some time in my scrapbook room!  Grayson is having a friend come stay  tomorrow for the weekend - so I'll definitely have time to scrap then!  I'll also be wrapping gifts as my scrapbook room looks like Santa's workshop! There are boxes, bags and all sorts of things hidden under quilts and behind furniture!

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I'm very thankful for ACOT and all my cherry friends!

Happy Thanksgiving, Cherries!

Cold and rainy here.  We're under a Winter Storm Watch . . . I guess we'll see how that plays out!

I've been up since 5:00, and at this hour I still have the house to myself as everyone else is still sleeping!!!!!  Not one of them is stirring!!!  I even dropped my cast iron pot on the floor this morning.  I wish I could sleep that hard!

I'm doing nothing today.  I've got the mashed potatoes finished and rolls made. Vegetables are prepared, so all that's left is to warm the meat when we decide to eat.

I'll just go back to my Andy Griffith Show marathon.

Have a great day ALL!

OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

Also watching the parade and scrapping, because I prepared my dishes for DH's family yesterday, and we don't leave until noon. :)  Happy Thanksgiving, Barb!  (I will be watching the dog show this evening, too!) :)

Hey Cherries 😊 Happy Thanksgiving to you, DCs! ☺️
I've had a relaxing morning and Omer and DGD are in the kitchen now- lol she slept way in! 🤷🏻😂
I'm gonna do some more tidying up around here and get ready in case someone stops by. (Like DGD's siblings and mom.)
Anyway, I'm truly grateful for you, and hope y'all have a wonderful day! 🍒❤️☺️

Re: Scrap a Day, Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Dear Cherries!!! We have warmed up to 37F!!! You’d think all this snow and ice would have melted by now! But it hasn’t even with the rain we’ve been getting off and on all night!!!

We will have a very quiet weekend. The ferry broke down on its way to Ketchikan on Tuesday morning and had to return here for some kind of mechanical issue. And the backup boat was in for maintenance. So they didn’t sail yesterday and they don’t sail on thanksgiving or Christmas. Many people are stuck on one side or the other which means Jeff, Mike, Molly and Robert won’t be able to come over tomorrow. :( BUT… that means we will have a bigger gathering with Greg and Joe (who are in Florida visiting family) and maybe even DIL Kristin might come!!  She enjoys her time alone at home when the guys leave. Lolol! And I’m sure by then we will be in the house so we will have a lot more room! So exciting!

I have to bake an apple pie for the potluck this evening. Dinner will be at 4:30 (8:30 eastern). So I have plenty of time. But I want to get it in so it can cool before we leave.

I got all but 2 of my Christmas cards finished last night! Steve still needs to sign them, we need to write our letter so I can print it up and the envelopes need to be prepared and stuffed. But I should be able to meet my goal of having them finished and ready to mail this weekend!!! The past few years I’ve been scrambling to get them out the week of Christmas so I’m extra happy I’m so far ahead this year!!!

Should be able to scrap this evening and most of tomorrow too. I’m making a cherry pie for us. I’ll cook our turkey on Saturday. That’s been the plan all along. We just won’t have anyone to share them with which means we get ALL the leftovers!!! Turkey sandwiches here I come! Lolol!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Dear Cherries! I am thankful for each and every one of you!!!

Re: Scrap a Day, Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to all y’all Cherry friends/family.  Sunny blue sky and cold.  House is clean/tidy.  Pies baked early this morning.  Turkey in the oven.  Taking a break to nibble on some cheese/crackers then turning my craft area back into the dining room.  lol. Already got “the” Thanksgiving tablecloth out. Lol
next door neighbor called to cancel.  She threw her back/ribs out a couple days ago and finally went to dr yesterday for adjustment.  She is tired and sore.  Told her I would bring her some dinner and pie and she cried.   🤔

hoping everyone has a wonderful day.
