Scrap a Day, November 26th

Hey Cherries. Pouring rain again here today. I have to make a Costco run to pick up one of their pumpkin pies that I’m bringing on Thanksgiving. I’ve been getting a lot done around here finally. Emptied out some kitchen cabinets and pulled out pots and pans and things that I don’t use anymore and made room for some new things that I bought. I got a new turkey roasting pan that I love so I am all ready for Thursday. As for scrappy mojo just haven’t gotten it back yet. Sigh. Maybe it will hit after Thanksgiving.

Hope you all have a great day.

Sounds like you have been busy Barb.  Hope you find your scrappy Mojo soon.

Busy, busy, busy around here. All of the Christmas decorations are up. I ran out early this morning and got all the stuff I need for the Thanksgiving dishes I am taking to my brothers and have done a lot of Christmas shopping too. I don't do the Black Friday thing in the stores anymore.  My knee is SCREAMING at me to rest a bit so I am going to listen.  Will finish picking up the decorating mess then hopefully scrap a little. Cannot believe that November is almost over, I do not think I have done any of the challenges yet. Really want to get to a few of the Turkey Trots. have a great day everyone  😊

Good morning!  It's a really nice day here - 45 but the sun is making it feel much warmer.  And of course I am stuck at work...

I didnt do much last night after Jasons bowling match.  He bowled a 268!!

I stared at my computer way too long last night before i decided to work on something.  I wanted to do a bit of quilling for a fun page.  But of course....Miss Penny wanted to help so bad!  I was so irritated that she would not leave me alone and kept stealing the strips.  Then I was able to kinda cuddle her for a bit while she watched me....then I realized she was behaving because while I was rolling, she was chewing on the ends!!!  GRR!!!  So I brought it to work and plan on working on some during lunch...lol.

Have a great day!

Rain early this morning but the sun is shining now!  We are headed out to our DGDs honor program this morning.  Straight A's again.  So proud of her.  This is her last year at MS.

Sounds like you've very productive around the house, Barb! Lol I NEED that motivation! 😂
Did you get your new scrappy supplies put away? Sometimes that helps me with my scrappy mojo, but sometimes I'm more drawn to other things, like journaling.
Good luck to you, Sweet Barb!  😊

Lol @ Miss Penny! I had a somewhat similar situation with Shadow kitty yesterday 😂 he kept trying to get a spicy tuna packet out of the trash! I used my water sprayer on him and he FINALLY backed off! 😂 Our fur babies can be so silly and stubborn sometimes!
Hurray for Jason! Lol I think I bowled an 8 one time! 😂
Hopefully work will fly by for you! 😜 I'll be stuck at work later, too! 😂
Have a blessed day, Wendy! 🌹

Hey Dear Cherries 😊
I Had a good therapy session yesterday, and relaxed most of the day. I started working in a journal - I want to do the #4 Black Friday challenge in my journal- it's been on my heart to journal about things I'm grateful for this year, and so this challenge was perfect timing! 😊
I don't work until 5 today, so I have some time to play! Having coffee now and catching up around here LOL!
I also want to do another layout challenge but we'll see! 😉
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️😊

Sorry about your knee Kristin!

WTG on getting alot of Christmas Shopping done. I'm about 90% done myself. I started in October, right after Jasper's birthday.

I've never ventured out on Black Friday. The only BF shopping I do is online. ACOT is up first, followed by PetCo (can't beat their BOGO Treats and Toys!). Sometimes I take a look at an online doggie bakery that offers great deals too. 50% off on their biscuits and jerky. Gotta take care of the furkids! :)

Good morning y'all. Had an...eh...day yesterday. The morning was nice and quiet, but the afternoon.....filled with stupidity.Today, morning almost over and haven't heard a peep from anybody. We shall see how the rest of the day goes.

Nice and cool today. We hit 90 yesterday, a front make it overnight and we were 50. No sun though, so boooooo. High will be 70 before we warm back up tomorrow (64/90).

Only got work going on today. Washed a load of doggie blankets, and vacuumed our bedroom.

Hope everyone has a great day!

After being in the deep freeze for several days, we are warming up to more normalish temps. Almost 40F, the sun is shining and everything is melting. DH is driving for Avis again today. I ran to get groceries. Think I have everything for Thursday. Have the minion tomorrow and DH is getting the boys closer to lunchtime. He’s going to get Nic to help him get the batteries off the trailer. Have some prepping to do tomorrow for Thursday. And the minion can help me.
Putting groceries away and hope to escape to my craft space after lunch.

Sounds like you're making progress Barb!  The holiday season is upon us and everyone is happy and excited and you're just not.  That's hard no matter what the reason is.  It's good you're keeping yourself busy and not overdoing things.  I know when my Mom passed the world changed forever.  It took me a long time to understand that.  I still talk to her and Dad all the time.  Enjoy your time with your family and keep taking it easier on yourself.  {{{HUGS|||

You've already got your decorations up!!!  That's AWESOME!  :)  I am hoping and praying I can decorate our HOUSE this year!  :)  Maybe I can finally see ALL of my Christmas decorations for the first time since Christmas 2015!!!  :)  I hope your knee settles down soon.  I know what that's like!  And you're right about time flying by.  It's just incredible how fast this year went by and the last couple of months seem to have zoomed faster than ever!  Have fun creating!

Wendy, you also have a fur baby named Miss Penny?!  That's amazing!  :)  It's a small world!  I had to LOL at the shenanigans she was pulling.  She thought you had a special toy just for her!  :)  Congrats to Jason too!  That's an AWESOME score!!!

Brandy, I hope your day stays quiet!  Enjoy that warm weather because us northerners have been freezing!  :)

Leslee, send some of that 40 degree weather our way please!  :)  We're quite a bit warmer than yesterday but it's still pretty cold and our icy snow hasn't melted a bit!  Have fun with the minion tomorrow!  Have fun crafting!

i do!  Her full name is Miss Penelope Ann (both of my daughter's middle names are Ann, so we had to keep it going). She needs sooo much attention - she thinks she is soooo neglected.  It's funny that I have to share my "toys" with her but she gets upset when I grab hers.  she hates it when I clean up and put her stuff away...lol.
