Scrap a Day, November 22nd

Hey Cherries. Boy was I really lazy yesterday. I don’t know why. Maybe it was the rain we had all day. We haven’t had a rainy day in so long it just made me sleepy and all I wanted to do when I got home from nails was snuggle up on the couch the rest of the day. Today it’s cold and windy. It’s 39 right now with a feels like of 23. I’m going to get my roots colored this afternoon and in the meantime hopefully get my act together. It’s the 22nd of the month and there is scrapping to be done!
Have a great day Cherries.

These fall/winter rainy days DEFINITELY make me want to cuddle up and rest, too, Barb!
LOL @ getting your scrappy act together!
Have fun at your hair appointment - it's VERY therapeutic to do something JUST for you!
I hope you have a very good day my friend!

Hey Cherries
I got my two layouts finished AND posted yesterday! I love how they came out- and it was So MUCH FUN doing them!
I started tidying up my space yesterday. I started putting away TONS of paper that I initially had in kits that I'd made, I got my scraps separated from THOSE papers, and stuck ALL the embellishments in a large bag- my iris-like containers were ALREADY full! I ALSO put away several stencils- though NOT in a very particular organized fashion!
I left a few page kits and a bag of papers, the scraps and embellishments in my living room, but it's a MUCH tolerable stack now!
(My shelf was literally overflowing with all the kits I'd been working with!)
I work 12-530 today and will grocery shop after- I need more cat food and litter, and things to make spaghetti lol! The new schedule comes out today and I'm anxious to see it!
I'll probably get something creative done after work, while watching TV with Omer. We watch so many shows, and TONS of YouTube LOL! I do a fair amount of crafting stuff while we watch!
There's so MANY challenges left that I want to do!
Have a great day, DCs! Stay blessed!

Good morning cherries! Another gorgeous today here. 47 for the low, not a cloud in sight, lots of sunshine and low humidity. We're supposed to be 73 later
Did a major upgrade last night for my client and everything went well. Ate dinner, then relaxed with some TV. Worked a little this morning while drinking my coffee. DH was in the kitchen making the 7 Layer Dip for his company's pot-luck lunch thingy today. I already got groceries for the short week and what we need for Thanksgiving. Already took care of some work-related emails too.
Our local blood bank is having a blood drive all over town, so I'm scheduled to donate at 11am. I pre-registered and took care of all the questions they ask you each and every time. So when I get there I just gotta show my ID and the qrcode I got. From there, stop in at Hobby Lobby real quick to get some adhesive and might look at the children's crafts. I'll have Wes and Anton next Wednesday for at least 4 hours. I'm trying to make sure they are well occupied.
Anyways, back to work for me before I head out at 10:45am.
Have a great day y'all.

I picked up a cute pack of reindeer magnets for our kiddos to put together on Thanksgiving day. They have such fun kits for kids at HL.

We spent the morning connecting all of our devices to the new service we have. We changed from Comcast to Verizon. Wow, I can't believe how much faster it is. We were paying for the faster internet service with Comcast and it doesn't compare to what we have now with Verizon. So with all of our services including the TV we are paying $200 less with Verizon. Looking good so far.
I finished a couple of cards for December DT projects and have one more to get done. Then, I will change out the bows on window wreaths. They are really faded from weather and need replaced. Everything is getting an upgrade today!

It's SNOWING for me.
Snow has been falling for about an hour and we have at least an inch on the ground. And it is cold out there, only 19F. They say it's going to warm up into the 30's and then we will get freezing rain. Finding that hard to believe. We shall see. I walked yesterday and it was cold out too. Not going out for the rest of the day.
No daycare for the minion today, so she and her mum dropped in after taking the boys to school. She was full of energy and going grocery shopping with her mum.
Obviously, no plans for me so I hope to just create. Still lots of challenges to do.
Have an awesome Friday!

Hi Cherries! It’s sunny today but don’t let that fool you. When winter arrives that means the clear sunny days are COLD! We’re supposed to have a high of 30 and a low of 24. Brrrrr!!! I went out to give the birds an afternoon snack and I was really cold in the few minutes that took!!
Then I went up to the house and it wasn’t cold but it wasn’t warm either. We’ve received all of the lamps and lights we ordered and are really happy with our choices! The ones we got yesterday are hanging lamps for our bedroom. They’re hand cut and hand glued glass made in Turkey. They’re GORGEOUS and I haven’t seen them lit yet! Steve still has to do a bit more on the electricity and then we will be able to see everything together. It’s amazing how just a couple of lights totally changed the place!!! It’s going to be so nice!
I’ve been working on my Christmas cards. Thought I had them done yesterday but it seems I can’t count! Lolol! I’ll work on the last 14 today. Steve came up with what to say inside so I’ll get that typed up and ready to cut and adhere for tomorrow. Then I HAVE to work on the albums for the grandsons. I haven’t even started those yet:(
Hope you’re all having a fabulous day!!!

Guess I’m getting old. Been getting stuff done since I got home from Florida. Going to bed regular time and waking up early etc. last night was in bed about 11:30 and didn’t wake up this morning until 10am. Jeez
pouring rain today most of the day. Another “atmospheric “ river storm”. Should b a smalll break early afternoon so I need some Krylon (or something like that ) for sealing painted rocks and can’t find my glitter sprays anywhere so some gold and silver. Probably a quick run through the grocery too .
looked at todays date on calendar and smiled. 60 years ago today was a cool sunny day and I was maid of honor for my now sister in law Lois. We’ve been friends for more than 62 years and in-laws for more than 58 of those years. We’ve helped one another raise our kids and bury our husbands. So smiling not crying and happy anniversary to Lois!
have a fortunate Friday

Good afternoon, Cherries! It's a miserable day of rain and snow flurries. BUT I'm so happy that I get to see my youngest daughter today and all night. She had a doctor appointment in King of Prussia (near us) and then she was going to the mall to walk around and possibly do some shopping. Living at the beach in Delaware has its perks but not so much for shopping.
When she leaves the mall, she will call us and we'll meet her at a local restaurant. After an early dinner, she will come back to our house and spend the night so she can have brunch with some of her local friends.
I didn't get any scrapping done but did get some organizing completed. We have nothing going on this weekend, so I plan to scrap then

So happy you are going to spend time with your DD and have an overnight visit as well. Enjoy her.
