Scrap a Day, November 12th

Hey Cherries. It’s back to adulting today. I’m up early I have two appointments, dermatologist this morning and eye doctor this afternoon. In between I have to make calls and make appointments for my sister and I regarding my mom. A lot to deal with. I thought my anxiety would have backed off by now but nope, it’s hanging in there. Sigh. Hopefully once things settle a bit it will settle too.
I did a lot of catching up on the boards yesterday. Should be able to pick the winners for one of my challenges today when I get home. Still working on catching up on the other and then will work on getting new challenges up.
Have a great day Cherries.

Hugs to you and your sister, Barb. There is always more than we think there will be....we're still working on settling my mom's estate from 2020. I'm hoping that's done by the end of this year. Take it a day at a time. Hope it settles for you soon.
I'm finishing up some photos today and doing some odds and ends around the house. DH leaves tomorrow for 5 days in FL so I will be able to get a lot more accomplished while he is away. I'm getting ready for our Thanksgiving dinner and planning our Christmas Eve gathering. Time is flying by!

Good morning cherries! Big hugs for you Barb! Like Vicki said, take it one day at a time.
Survived the day yesterday. It was B.U.S.Y, but not stupid busy. Got alot of stuff accomplished. Hoping for another productive day today.
Already went on my walk this morning and threw doggie blankets in the washer, vacummed the bedroom. Need to run to the PO and get milk at the store.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Hugs Barb. My husband is still working on his mother's estate, she was also a resident of Long Island. Things were particularly difficult out there, it took months to get the executor appointed. It only took a week or so when my parents passed, they lived in NJ. It's a lot to do so good luck with all of that.
I have a pretty simple day today, a little scrapping and a walk, not sure what else.

Barb - hugs and prayers for you as you continue to work through everything.
Well, over the weekend (Sunday) my sweet Lucky crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was 18. I rescued him when he was 1.5 - so we had over 16 years together. He was the four legged love of my life and I feel lost without my little pup. Our cats are confused as to where he is because they loved him and he loved them.
I've tried to find some time to get into my scrapbook room - I got in there last night and punched things for my December Daily... working on that some more today. Trying to find little bits of joy wherever I can find them. Looking forward to the Turkey Trot this Friday!

Hey Cherries
I did manage to finish my LO AND an art journaling spread for FHP challenges, which means I've done a total of 3, which works for me! Lol not having all the time I want for arts and crafts is annoying lol! Adulting SMH !
I'm off today and just relaxing for the moment.
Been a busy morning talking to my sisters- about our other sis, who has some problems. She NEEDS prayers, Cherries! It's hard.
I have 10 years clean tomorrow and REALLY recognize alcoholism when I see it.
I do plan on doing some more arts and crafts stuff today. There's so MANY good challenges and it IS VERY therapeutic!
Stay blessed, Cherries!

i am up after a rotten night. Couldn't get to sleep. And then woke up at 2;30 , still awake well after 3am. So I just got up and scrapped, rather than toss and turn and keep DH awake. I am dragging!!!
Nothing really on my agenda for today, thankfully.
Just picked the LOTW for when I was away last week with no computer. Why is it the week I pick, I seem to then be away?
Job is now done.

Thanks Louise. There was a big delay with Suffolk County for some reason a few years back when we were working on my DH's estate. Took them forever to get some things approved. No one knew what was going on with them. Hopefully it is not still the same.

Thank you Rebecca, and I am so sorry. What a long and wonderful life he had but it is never enough. It hurts so bad when they leave us. Many, many, many ((hugs)).
