Scrap a Day, October 29th

Hey Cherries. Waiting on the Cable guy to show up. It has been so frustrating not having Internet and WiFi. DS will stay here for him while I go to my dermatologist appointment and then go be with my mom for a while. I hope this gets fixed today. It seems to be in the wiring somewhere.

Hope you all have a great day.

Hey Cherries 😊
One more shift, and then I'm FINALLY off for two days! I ONLY slightly overslept this morning 😂 I'm having coffee now. I want to do arts and crafts ALL day tomorrow! 😂
Have a blessed day, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️

Pretty chill here.  It looks beautiful outside.  Looks can be deceiving as it is in the 20’s outside this morning.  Brrrr….. But the wind seems pretty calm out there.  Need to go out and walk before it gets blowing.

Did get my flu shot.  Pretty unremarkable.

Otherwise not much on the agenda for today.  Think what I need to pack when I head to Seattle.  My raincoat, for sure!

Need to work on the sketch challenge, but still have Christmas card stuff spread out all over!

Hello from cloudy but warm Central Florida.  DD lives in a small town just a bit north of Orlando called Altamonte Springs.   nice little town and good place to raise my grandkids.  lol. But hardly ever gets cold here at least not to my standards of fall and winter weather.  DD ended up here courtesy of her first DH and the US military. Marriage didn’t last long but she’s been here most of the last 30 years. Lol oh well. She’s happy

nothing going on today.  I can’t take really long walks here cause of humidity but I manage a few shorter ones as well as walking down to meet the two younger kids at the school bus stop about 1/2 mile away.   But it’s all good

have a terrific Tuesday

Florida humidity is fun, isn't it?  Glad you are enjoying your stay even with the heat.

Sooooo..... my word for this year was health.  Made a commitment to make all the long overdue appointments and get everything checked up and fixed up. In regards to that I took a BIG step today and scheduled my total knee replacement for June. 2 days after school gets out.  I have put this off for waaaaaaay too long.  I am scared but excited to finally be taking care of this.  Hope everyone is having a great day  😊

Leslee, I learned very quickly that in the winter up here if the sun is shining it’s REALLY cold! Have fun preparing for your trip!!! I have my Christmas card stuff on my table too. :)
