Scrap a Day, September 25th
Hey Cherries. I have an appointment with my new dermatologist this morning. Getting deep freeze #2 on this wart. I need to stop at my eyeglass place on my way home to have something adjusted on my glasses, then home. Maybe today will be the day I actually clean my scrap room. One can only hope.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning. I'm working on the art journal. I finished one page and adding stuff to the previous pages but now I'm stuck. This is fun but high pressure.

Not much else going on today but I'm sure I'll figure out something.

Have a great day!

Good morning

Not much going on here.  Another long, boring day at work.
The chicken and potato casserole was a big hit again.  Unfortunately, no leftovers for lunch today.  I"m finishing off the last of the meatloaf.  I don't even feel like eating anything.  I brought Triscuits (shredded cardboard) and the last of the hummus to munch on.

While the casserole was baking, I jumped on the treadmill.  I had planned on doing 30 minutes, but only made it to 15.  I was disappointed, but I have to be careful and not push myself too far.  It's been QUITE a while since I last used it, so I need to remind myself to start out slow.  I'm waiting for the results from the weight loss challenge.  Even though I gained a pound I'm hoping I hung on to the top 10 position.

A roast with potatoes, carrots and pearl onions is cooking in the crockpot for today.  I'm not a fan of it, so I will find something else to eat.  I have to drop my daughter off at the airport tonight.  she is heading to Utah to see a friend.  Her life's goal is to visit all of the National Parks in the US.  She is just getting started and has 4 or 5 done.  In Utah she will be visiting 4 of them.

I think I will spend today checking out Pinterest for new recipe ideas.  Time to start looking at lots of soups!
If anyone has any amazing soup recipes, please share!

Have a great day!

Hey Wendy, 15 minutes is great! I didn't walk yesterday, even when the rain stopped, so you're doing better than me! 😉 It's important to go slow, thought like you said. Progress IS progress! ☺️
I have a "yum" board on Pinterest but not sure if I have many soup recipes on there. Soup sounds good, though! 😋
Have a wonderful day! 😊

Hey Cherries 😊 I've had some tummy problems this week and missed work yesterday, but I'm feeling MUCH better! ☺️
Plans for today MAY include playing around with arts and crafts stuff! 😂 I worked on my art journals yesterday, and it is so freeing to work on them. It's true that I have a whole slew of *professional art projects*, but art journaling AND scrappin' are liberating!
Coffee for now! 😁 Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️

It rained all night and still raining.  What a relief to finally get a nice soaking rain.  The grass is smiling.  Not much going on here today.  We are having some frame work under the deck replaced and surprised when they showed up in the rain.  He was here at 7:30 and is still working.  Intermittent rain and hot coffee for him!  I'm headed to our DDs at 3 to take DGD to dance this evening.  It's a long process for an hour of dance.  LOL!  40 minutes to DDs, 45 minutes to dance, 45 minutes back to DDs and then 40 minutes home.  Oh, and  I'm sure there will be a stop for food somewhere along the way.  DGD will be starving...LOL!  I should be home around 7.  DH is making ham and fresh green beans for dinner so it will be ready when I finally arrive.

Well lol 101 yesterday and 85 today.  Lovely delta breeze and yeah the kitchen door is open.   Nothing happening today but a pedi in the late afternoon.    Got my DS’s bday card about half done yesterday when I decided nope it wasn’t right for this kid.  Finished it and tossed into the cards I made for no reason box.  So today I will start again. Let’s hope with better luck!

have a pleasant Wednesday.
