Hey Cherries. Another chilly day. In the 40s right now and headed for around 52. It’s sunny but windy so we have a bit of a wind chill. And the leaves continue to come down. Today I’m spending the afternoon with my mom. I’m taking her to see a friend that is in a nursing facility, then we are going to our favorite little gift shop. It is a fun place to go to they have so many different things there, and I hopefully will get some more Christmas shopping done.
Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning. I'm in the my craft room for probably the first morning this month. I have finally written down the challenges and plan to start on something soon.
Going to the Sixers game tonight. I went to the game on Sunday night and it was a really great game, so tonight probably won't be as good, but still fun. I just wish they had better food at the stadium.
Have a great day everyone!

Enjoy your visit with your mom Barb and enjoy the game Louise. On lunch break...15 minutes of peace and quiet. Getting ready for classroom move this week. Really looking forward to no school next week. Today my ODS turns 28, that just seems crazy to me. This is the first time I have not been with him on his birthday so sending lots of love to Brooklyn. Have a great day everyone

Morning. 52 and hazy sun here. But house was in low 60’s when I got up so had heater on for a bit today. Going to dig electric blanket out and put it on bed today and change to a heavier weight bedspread. Brrr. Nights down in the upper 40’s is winter to me. lol
Other than that just Christmas Card making. Got a notice from post office that my last two packages that were out for delivery yesterday couldn’t b delivered because of “animal” danger!?!?! Lol I have an 8# cat but my regular mailman was off yesterday so he usually brings my packages right to my front door instead of that box down the street.
Have a less than tumultuous Tuesday.

Woke up today thinking I should start my walking routine since the weather is nice and cool in the mornings now. During the desert summers it's easy to avoid going outside if you don't have to. So I did a brisk 15 minute walk to start my day. Feeling pretty good after a bit of breakfast so I thought I would come check out some challenges. I have a few layouts in mind but thought I could use some inspiration for design.
I have a few errands to do later this morning and then possibly come back to work on more Cmas cards.
Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? I need to check the menu my daughter has planned and see what she wants us to bring.
What plans do you y'all have?

Oh, Kristen, 15min is not a long enough lunch break with all you have to deal with. I remember those days well when I was nursing.
Hugs to you!!! Glad you have next week off!

Good Morning, all!!
Looking pretty good here, although rain and snow predicted for tomorrow and Thursday. I would take just rain, thanks! Yesterday when I walked it was in the 60's. last week was in the 20's. Always interesting. They say you use up more calories in the cold trying to stay warm??? Maybe.
Had planned a Costco run today, but didn't sleep great, so putting that off until later this week.
Have lots of things to do- make cards, get down in my sewing space and sew binding on a finished quilt. Always something for me around here. And always lots of sewing projects I want to tackle.
Have an awesome day!

Have fun working on your Christmas cards and oh! I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week, either! I'm looking forward to seeing my family!

Hey everyone, just updating after my Oncologist visit. Blood work all came back good. My CT-Scan showed that all tumors in right lung are still gone and clear. The one tumor in my lower left lung has grown alittle. Not responding to the 2 maintenance drugs I'm on. She said I could meet with a radiologist now and have radiation. She's thinking radiation since there is only 1 spot. Or I could try another 3 months on my maintenance drugs and then do another CT-Scan with Barium and IV and see how's it doing. I'm going to do another 3 months on the drugs and hope and pray that it kicks in and no further growth. She also said to keep up with taking care of my body eating right and exercise. I'm feeling great and more energy than I've had for a long, long time.
Have a good day, all!

I think it's so awesome you make sew and quilts! I can only hand-sew, mediocre lol!
Good luck on the cards, too- I'm so far behind where I need to be with those!

Good morning everyone! Its in the 60's here going to get into the 70's today at some point. I'm finishing up school with the littles, we do home school, and then were going on a walk to get some energy out! lol Once we get back I'll be in the craft room and so will they lol, they have a desk in my craft room so we can craft together and they don't feel like they have to stay out of there. Not sure what I'm going to be playing with yet but I'll figure it out lol. MTCanuk I know the feels! The weather here is crazy too! We've froze, then it was in the 80s again, then tons of rain and 30s nd 40s now were back in the 60s and 70s. My allergies are not good right now!

Hey Cherries
Where does time go?! Thanksgiving next week already?! I'm looking forward to spending time with my family; it'll be the last one at my mom's house - which my grandparents lived in since I was born. It's bittersweet, actually. I plan on cooking some food to take, so I'll probably need prayers for that!
I mean, I just seem to have kitchen issues sometimes lol!
My sister Moe is gonna pick me up later this afternoon to go to my mom's in Louisville for a few days, actually. I'm gonna try to help her do some packing since she has to move soon. (It's not her fault, the landlord passed a few years back and apparently the one who took over wasn't doing some things by the book.)
Anyway, my mom doesn't know I'm coming so it'll be a (hopefully nice) surprise for her! She needs the help, though- according to my sister. Wether my mom will actually let me help her, that's a different story lol!
I'm taking my crop bag just in case lol! I need to pack it. Just taking some page kits and photos, with adhesive. Maybe my mom will have some more pictures for me? I could ALWAYS use more!
Looking forward to seeing my little brother, too. He has C.F., and is 36. A modern medical miracle, for sure! It's hard when he has bad days, but I think that's normal for anyone who cares for someone has medical issues. Seeing him thrive so well over the years HAS increased my Faith, and I'm always grateful for more time with him.
So I'm getting ready soon, and it'll be nice for me to have a few days away, too! I'm feeling better since I've gotten my effexor, and I think everyone in the house could probably use a break from me.
I wasn't quite on my best behavior these last few days- I tried, though!
I'll miss my fur babies when I'm gone! It is hard to leave them for a few days! I know they'll be taken care of, but I won't be here to micro manage.
Anyway, I'm off to get ready.
Stay blessed, Cherries!

Awwww I feel your pain with the allergies!!
Glad you get to enjoy your littles so much and crafting with them is AWESOME!!!
I have so many good memories of doing crafts with my own mom and siblings, and I bet your kiddos will, too!

Great news Deanna. Yes, eating healthy and moving that body really does a body good! Continuous hugs
