ACOT Message Board

I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm trying this. I have been absent from the ACOT community for awhile .  I would like to know if there is an online crop scheduled sometime, and when . I would love to participate now that I am pretty much settled from my move !! The crops are so much fun and I get a load of inspiration from them.

I'm not sure - Maybe NSD which isn't until  May. 

You can always check out the monthly challenges under "Contests and Challenges" on the message board index. Lots of members host their own challenges- most offer random winners of ACOT gift cards, supply RAKS, or maybe just for fun. There's always lots of inspiration involved!

I hope they will have one. I miss them!

I'll have to remember about the NSD crop.  I miss the crops they use to host years ago.

I also miss the crops ACOT would host during the year!  I'm super excited about the NSD one - might even take a couple of days off to prepare and participate!!

Are you still going to be able to come to the April 1st Crop?  I'm really looking forward to it.

Yes I am!!!!  It will be my last crop for a while because racing starts the week after Easter.  Can't wait and hoping we can all be there and everyone is healthy!!!

Also, is the NSD crop going to be one day or more than one day? I usually have too much going on to scrap all day on a Saturday in May.

The crop is in Lansdale PA. Is that too far for you? In the past the NSD challenges would be posted on Saturday and most you would have a week to complete. However, some of the challenges are Quick (?) challenges that need to be completed within the hour posted.

Chris is referring to Fast Scraps, which are duing the NSD crop and whatever the requirements, you have an hour to complete and upload.  But I don't think there have been many of thos lately.  And I the past the week prior to the crop, little hints and games take place where you can gain some cherry points for participating.  And the day of the crop (1st Saturday in May) all challenges that are put up have usually been open for a week, being due the following Saturday or Sunday.  Which is awesome!!

As for the Lansdale crop, hope you are close enough to join us.  It is April 1st.  It takes me just under an hour to get there and not a bad drive at all.

Lansdale might be do-able. I kind of think I have something on April 1, but I have no idea what. Can one of you send me the details by PM?

One of my neighbors hosts a weekend long crop in Clark, NJ. It was weird, she lives 3 houses from me and we have barely spoken, but then I saw an online advertisement to her first crop (this past January). The next one is April 28-30, which may or may not work for me, I'm still figuring that out. It is so close to me, I can come and go or just go for Friday. Would that work for either of you? If not this one, then maybe in the future?

That schedule for NSD will work well for me. A week to finish is exactly what I need.

I just sent the organizer a message on FB to make sure the crop is still happening on April 1st. Once she confirm, I'll send you the information in a PM.  That would be so exciting if we could finally meet after all these years. 

okay, now I was curious so looked back and I posted my first LO in Feb. 2008.  But I think I had started playing around the MB earlier, I remember it was spring and during a crop weekend so that would be 2007, May.   And I shopped here for a good 6 months or longer before I even found the MB...  I am almost positive it was still called Stickers Galore at the time!  But I must have gotten on the board after you left Louise
