arrrrrrrrrrrg   so i guess that i haven't said anything here...lol  but my FIRST grandchild is due in about 26 days....yay!  the screwed part????  its a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ummmmmmm excited about that on all levels EXCEPT the scrapping level..........i don't do masculine pages very often and i have next to NO boy type stuff and going thru the store here...not much.....sigh   im thinking i am going to have to make it to a hobby lobby or find a lss in the big city soooooooooooon.............

Congrats to you and your family. That is exciting news. As far as scrapping for boys........yeah I'm not much help. I'm a girl mom too. But I have been able to use more the blues and browns when I scrap something about DH. That seems to come out OK. Good luck to you

Congratulations!!! I remember when my grandson was born I had to start collecting boy scrappy supplies after years of hoarding, ummm collecting, girl supplies. I will be checking out that new Echo Park collection! They do have a baby boy collection out right now that is here in the store:

And on the boy papers, at fist I couldn't find anything other than baby blue stuff for boys. But now the Iris drawer that has boy themed papers in it is FULL! They are making lots better stuff nowadays, and ACOT sells out pretty fast. Of course, you can scrap with trendy stuff even if it's not baby boy themed. Your layouts are always gorgeous, and I'm sure your grandsons pages will be, too!

90% of my stash is boy stuff when you take out season/holiday specific product.  I have 2 sons and had a daughter this year.  I have no problems finding boy things that I like...girl stuff on the other hand is disgustingly over saturated in pink which makes it very difficult for me to find things for her.  I find it so funny how opposite we are in tastes.  If it weren't for the fact that I own like 90% of the awesome boy stuff out there, I'd have no problems dumping a ton of money in the shop here.  There are 2 baby boy lines that coordinate from Echo Park that are nice, lots of other generic masculine boy products from them and their sister company, Carta Bella.  I would also look at Simple Stories as they are rapidly becoming a favorite manufacturer for all sorts of product.  Doodlebug will have some cutesy stuff that you can use for boys that might bridge the gap between your feminine tastes and desire to make pages that fit for a boy, same for Bella Blvd (not as cutesy but definitely not overwhelmingly masculine, either).

Congrats, Carrie!  As the mom of two girls, my first grandchild was a girl.  But then we got a boy....and he is a delight.  I felt like you do at first....how will I ever make a boy page.  I had all pink.  Grab yourself some Echo Park boy kits, or Fancy Pants, and start there.  They have some great papers.  And soon you will be loving boy pages, just like you will love that little boy to pieces!  Enjoy the journey!

There are tons of cool boy stuff out.  Having twin grandsons, I've learned to adapt ideas for their layouts.  I also have a granddaughter now so am getting to scrap foo foo too.  Just look for ideas in the gallery....lots and lots of baby boy, little boys layouts here.  and congrats!
