Scrap a Day, July 16th

Good morning cherries! Good news on Bear. She is on a steroid treatment now. The steroid drip last week is a short acting steroid, meaning it only lasts for a few days. Knowing that it worked (her walking around by herself about 75% of the time), he knew that the steroid shot, which lasts longer, would work. So he did the left hip yesterday. Next wednesday we have an appt to get her right hip injected. If you do both hips, its very painful and the pain lasts 2-3 days. At least with the one shot, she is already showing improvement. She is already acting like she was last weekend. Which is amazing. So we are back on the road to recovery!

Anybody scrapping? Not sure if I'll get any done tonight. I did work on my August 5th card for SNS and GD Challenge #1. And I finished it too! I was surprised but had a blast working on. I'll get it uploaded soon!

How about you?

I finished a two-page spread last night. I have a lot of ideas but highly doubt an hour or two tonight after work will accomplish much... it can take me that long to pick out papers lol. I got a set of stuff I ordered from paper wishes last night and am very excited about it, so hopefully that will spur the creative juices. I would love to get the Becky Fleck Sketch challenge done first, then GD#4 (food) and #3 (travel) done. I want to try nearly all of the challenges, but some are more challenging than others lol. I have already entered into 6 of them, so I'm feeling really accomplished. They help keep me inspired, try new things, and help me try to catch up with all the scrapping I have left to do!

Happy that Bear is showing signs of feeling better :)

Working again after almost a year off is kind of kicking my butt! I have not scrapped in almost 2 weeks but hoping I will feel like it later today when I finish cleaning and laundry.

Brandy I am so happy that the shot is helping sweet Bear!! And what a great two pager!

I don't know if I'll get to do any scrapping today. It is so beautiful outside I am about to go out in the yard with Twinkie! No humidity today!! Gotta take advantage of that since it is rare here in July! Later on I have to run out and get a bag of Twinkie's food and need to run in the supermarket. I'll probably take Twinkie for a walk later too. So we'll see if I get to do any scrapping. I did pull pics on my computer last night for my next two pager for Twinkie's puppy album, so I'm basically ready to print out my drafts and get it started!

Thank you Joannie! I had alot of fun with this one. Used up scraps AND little die cut embellies!

Since he's doing one steroid shot at a time, it isn't too bad. But yeah they can be painful. But Bear hasn't shown any signs of pain.

Image Harley not-so-cute pic of the day here!  Sunday she decided to help mommy water the flower in the front.  She ran under the hose and got soaked then decided to dig a nice cool hole to lay in because mean mommy wouldn't let her in the house!

Hope everyone is having a great day!  Brandy, so relieved the steroids are working!
Don't think I will get to scrap today.  I have a massive headache from lack of caffeine.
Dunkin screwed up my order this morning and gave me milk in my coffee, which I am allergic to.
I told dh about it and he was going to pick up a cup for me in between jobs since he was coming back past me.
Then he got called to another job in the opposite direction.  I need to go home and crawl into bed.  I did get a LO
done last night, just need to upload it.  Hopefully this weekend I can crank out about 4-5 and catch up a bit more.

ROFLMAO! OMG!!  Ann - that picture of Little Harley! OMG! She has ATTITUDE!!!  OMG! WOW!! That picture just MADE my day! Love it!

Sorry you have a headache. Sucks that Dunkin' messed up your order. I hope you didn't have a major reaction to the milk. Do you need an epy pen?

no epy pen...  I do break out in hive on my throat/chest area though and my throat tightens a bit - that is if I really get something I shouldn't.  I opened it and it looked lighter than it should, took a little sip and knew it was plain coffee with milk then saw the little check mark on the side that said milk...  I am addicted to the ocha coffee, straight up!

I have so many Harley pics to scrap, need to order a whole bunch more doggie supplies!
