I was wondering what kind of adhesive should be used when using clear transparencies on a scrapbook page?

It's just personal preference, and also depends on how much is see through. I usually use little glue dots strategically placed to show the least amount of adhesive through the film.

You can use vellum tape too, on the corners.
Also, and I like to do this...use a brad to adhere it.

I use glue dots on the edges and then cover them with ribbon.

I have only done it with brads. You could do eyelets too.

I use all those, glue dots with a button or something to hide it, Vellum tape, and brads. Depends on what you have on hand and what works for your layout! Good Luck!

I think all of the above!!!
I like to use glue dots as my favorite to use. And my Crop-a-Dile 2 comes in real handy to use brads in the middle of a layout!
I have even used liquid glue on a very rare occasion when I know it would be hidden by the paper underneath.

Yes, that is our tree. We have it up on tote boxes (hidden by a tree skirt). I have a dog with a happy tail. Every time he gets near the tree, it is like his tail is the bat and the ornaments are the balls. So, we raised the tree. At least the cat is NOT climbing inside the tree this year....
