Your scrapping style?
This question has been asked before, but how would you describe your scrapping style? This can be hard to pin down, so here are some possibilities:

a. straight, linear, clean
b. journaling-focused or story-focused
c. photo-focused
d. artistic
e. eclectic (combining a wide variety of styles)
f. fad experimenting (like to try whatever is new and popular)
g. none of the above (please elaborate)

You may be one or a combination of styles. I, myself, like to think I am c and d, mostly. My layouts are all about the photos and I try to use my artistic streak in every layout. :)

Edited to add examples of how I see the above styles. Remember, there are more than what is listed!

a. Image

b. Image

c. Image or Image

d. Image

e. Image
or Image

f. Image

Remember, just because I may have shown your layout, doesn't mean that is your style...it's whatever a majority of your layouts are. If you can't pinpoint it, maybe you are eclectic. LOL Also, there are other layouts that may combine styles and these might be combining styles (if you are thinking one of them fits another style, also, you are probably right!)

The goal here is to break out of your "comfort zone" so to speak and try another style that you wouldn't normally use. Maybe a scraplift would help you in the right direction? ;)

Re: Your scrapping style?
Mine is definetley C, paired with some F with a dash of A.

Basicaly I'm all about the photos, but do like to try some of the trends, but I still like most of my layouts to follow some clean lines (especially my two pagers).

I think my style would be primarily even between c)photo focused and b)journaling focused. The pictures are important, but so is the story! I also have an element of e)eclectic. Sometimes I utilize white space and random photos, sometimes I am much more linear. My style changes depending on my mood, I think! lol

I think I am "e". I don't try very many fads or real new trends. But I do like to try a variety of techniques and styles.

Re: Your scrapping style?
I would definitely be an A and C. Almost all my layouts are straight, linear and clean. I would say that I am photo-focused and always 95% of the time mat my photos which gives my layouts the straight, linear and clean look.

I am A and C. Trying to do better at journaling, explaining but it also just isn't "me" to go into SO much detail or turn sappy :winkb: I want the focus to be on the photos, never really thought about that before.

If I had to narrow it down, I would say B (story focused) and C (photo focused). I do love to experiment with trends and new products, so maybe F as well.

Re: Your scrapping style?
I'd say that I am very photo-focused, and I use scrapbooking as my creative outlet so I do love the artistic aspect of it. I design around my photos but I do love to try new things as I am still learning/evolving. The journaling aspect is the part I dislike the most lol.

I do think that some styles are too 'messy' for me and I don't like when the LO is the focal point (embellishments or too many crazy papers) rather than the photos.

I have no idea if I even have a style. Seems they come out differently every time, so I guess eclectic...

I don't know if I have a style, but if I had to choose one it would be A.

I would say mine is most A, C and a little of the artistic flair now and then too.

I think I am a combination of A and C. I don't know, maybe not. I am confused as to what I am. I only know that it takes me FOREVER to do a layout. :)

This sounds like me. I forgot to add the FOREVER too. I don't know why it takes me so long on some of my layouts. Then when I do get finished I say to myself this layout was simple. Why do I make them so time consuming??? It must be because I know I have lots of time still to do the layout. But, I know when I am running out of time (maybe an hour left to download) I can put together a layout and then really like it. I guess this is one of life's little mysteries in my world of scrapping.

A and C, with a little F... I usually don't try things right away but seem to have moved from shabby chic-ish to the current more graphic, clean style, so I guess I follow the trends somewhat!

Think I am an A, B and C primarily, with a touch of D and F.

Wow, I think I would say b,c and d. The photo is important, and I love taking them. But the story behind the photo can be just as important, especially doen the road when perhaps someone else is looking at the pages. And I try to put an artistic flair on all of them.

Hmm... I'd say c for sure, it's always about the pics. But lately I've been more creative with the papers and the layering, so some d. And definitely a. If it's too messy it doesn't work, and most of my layouts are straight. I do cattywompus my pictures now and then, and I think that is playful and cute. Otherwise I like straight and linear. I'm definitely not a fad follower!! (Tho I may cave and give in a few years after finally, if I decide I really like how it looks...)
