we have several spellbinder dies and an electric sizzix machine. we are unable to get these dies to cut out. we have tried the sandwich recipe that spellbinders includes but when we use that recipe the machine jams up. so when we start subtracting any of the elements we either get nothing at all or embossing when we wish for cutting. Anyone got any ideas? I would love to try the new diamond fold dies, but am wondering if they will be able to cut through. Some of them are quite intricate...

I have the electric sizzix and have no trouble running my spellbinders through. I do have to use the wafer thin platform with the platforms that came with my sizzix machine. Hope this helps. I got my wafer thin at an Archivers store. I had a hard time finding it also.
