Progress on Scrap Room

Closet as of yesterday afternoon.

DH got the book cases out of there. The only thing that I kept in there was my finished albums (I Love that shelf) and the very top shelf contains a few spare computer parts since my office is also in my scrap room:

Got the filing cabinet in the closet, as well as the stereo. Got the photo boxes on the 2nd shelf, and over to the right side, under my albums, is where I started putting some of my friends' scrappy things. Especially large totes. They fit nicely on the floor, underneath the last shelf.

Next step: Put up the Recollections shelf I bought Tuesday and put it on the wall. Move the glitters, mists, paints, etc over to that shelf, opening up other shelves on the other wall for paper!

It looks great!!! What kind of recollections shelf is it? Be sure to show pics of that plus your "New" scrappy place. Since you are being so energtic can you come do mine please??? lol

Becca, this is the picture of the shelf:

Its a great place to store my paints, mists, glitters, etc.

If I clean/organize your scrappy place, will you clean my house? lol..

Brandy I didn't realize this until now, but mine is a little bit different then yours. My DH added a little metal rod to the bottom of the shelf so I could hang my embellies.

Oh Brandy, how nice and neat everything looks! That closet looks fairly deep too. It'll all feel so good when finished and I bet you can't wait for the ladies to come crop so you can show it all off!

I am SO ready to scrap with everything in its place. BUT, gotta finish the shelves. Got everything that is not in the closet/book case on my scrappy table. LOL

Question: I know some storage comes boxed and needing assembly.How about the narrow shelves? Do they?

It is already fully assembled!

Well, the one I bought. But Mildred's is different than mine, so I'm not sure if hers is fully assembled too.

P.S. I was SO excited that I opened the box to look at it. Admire it. Touch it. Its so pretty! And lots of possibilities!

Mine came assembled too. But I have tons of the others in the collection and a lot of them need assembly. All of the cubes in my pic below had to be assembled. The shelves that make the desks fasten to the cubes. The one on the wall with the drawers also had to be assembled.

OK, cool! Thanks to you both for answering that. I recall Bibi had some cubes and she had to put them together. That's why I thought they all had to be. I might look into these shelves one day. I probably missed Michaels sale but haven't really looked. Mildred, your room looks awesome!

Also, they put them on sale from time to time for 40% off or you can always use a 50% coupon when you have one and they aren't on sale.
