Here is a picture of all my new scrappy supplies (which really doesn't show everything because there is stuff underneath stuff) I have been "collecting" since November. Looking at this picture makes me feel a bit overwhelmed. I now have to put everything away and have it all organized before I can begin to scrap again. I now wish I would have at least put everything away as I was getting them. There is so much here lots of "smalls" too. I have everything from adhesive to paper. Brads to flowers, punches, markers, stickers, and even a new blade for my cricut. On the chair is more paper, a few kits and even an album for Tucker. I don't know where to begin right now. Probably the chair so I have a place to sit while organizing. I am also wondering if underneath everything I might find my mojo. Keep your fingers crossed for me.......lol

OH, but it all looks like so much fun. I understand how overwhemling it can feel, just take one item at a time and before you know it, it will be organized.

I find that if I don't put it away as I get it, then I see it on the table and use it more readily instead of trying to find where I put it away. Or maybe I am just lazy or messy!

Do you know what MY problem would be? I'd clear the chair, sit down and then pick up a punch or stamp or...whatever and dang it, next thing you know, I'd just HAVE to see how well it worked or looked, etc! I'm hopelessly like a kid when it comes to new toys! Good luck and hope to see you using it soon!

Luckily, I put mine away as it comes, I am an organization freak, which is not always a good thing. BUT....how exciting to look thru all that, like it is new all over!!!! I would just do one thing at a time, like all paper, then if you want do more. If not more the next time. But I would sure find my chair and table to be able to scrap if the urge hits!!! Have fun!!!

Wow, looks like fun to me. Sad but I LOVE putting away new goodies and organizing. How fun to look at all the new stuff while cleaning...maybe ideas will strike.
I usually put it away as I get it, but I have been in a funk. So I have let it stack up. NEVER again will I do this. I am about half way done and half to quit. For some reason I have an upset stomach and I don't know why. I am going to the couch, but................. I am bringing all of my Tucker pages and put them in the album. That will make me happy and make me fill like I did something productive.

I understand Mildred! I have a different reason for not putting my stuff up that I have gotten. I am out of room.
My drawers are filled to the point I can't put another thing in them. What a GREAT dilema to have! however, I don't know what I am going to do. I can get some more organizers but I am also out of space in my room to put more! So my stuff is stacked on tops and different places since I do not KNOW what to do !
I bet your mojo is somewhere under that pile, it sometimes helps going through stuff to get our creativity going!

If it makes you feel better, I will post photos of my scrap studio above the garage right now. It is horrendous! I never have time to clean during school, so it will probably look this way until summer! Aaaaahhhhh!

I know how you feel, the more I buy the more I have to sort. I think I am getting a hand on it now that they have moved to room to the first floor. I don't feel so isolated from the family and I have actually been scrapping some each day. I have 16 years worth of pictures to scrap for my son. I hope to get caught up some day!

Maybe something will jump out at you while you are putting it all away. That's what happens to me. I will see something that will go with a photo I have and that gets me going. Good luck Mildred and hope you feel better. We are sick here at my house too....not fun.
My scrappy goodness is all over the house; in the living room, dining room, and in one bedroom upstairs I have a whole room full of stuff and in the upstairs room outside that bedroom door is another whole room of scrappy stuff. So, I will not be posting pictures. But there is hope, I am geting a scrapy closet in the renovated part of the house (so my scrappy goodness will be over there, too. lol) and a large table for scrapping.

OMG! How FUN to have so much new product! But I understand the challenge of keeping it organized and accessible. Sometimes I forget about a purchase and then I find the bag of goodies and it's like I just got it and the joy of rediscovering my new goodies.
Staying organized is an ongoing challenge, especially if your space is spread out into two parts of the home. I use the dining room for scrapping but have my sb cubes stacked up in the 3rd bedroom/office with more "stuff" in the closet. I also think it's good to purge once in awhile and donate or give away some sb stuff.
Feel better Mildred!
Good Luck Cherries!

If I had taken a before picture, I would show you how bad our scrap room (aka dining room) looked. I recently put in some new storage and we have been organizing like crazy. Still a bit overwhelming how much there is to do.

I'm slowly but surely getting more of these cubes. I watch for the M's coupons where you can get 40% off storage sale. That makes them "gulp" easier to purchase. But at one at time, it's taking a while.

My scrap building looks like Laura's room and I have decided on these cubes. By the way Laura, is that an ACOT shipping box I spy on the floor! I found two the other day in my room. Now I just need to start spending my scrap budget on the cubes. The first of December they had these on 40% off without coupon.
But I've also found another item I want. It's just really really confusing for me right now. I just need to search through it all as I have a bunch of stuff I need to purge.
Mildred, I hope you feel better. Keep thinking about how wonderful it will to be to work with all your new goodies. This afternoon I'm about to sit down and figure out how to work Martha Stewart's new punch tool! There goes some cardstock.....lol! I've only had it two months. And I bet I, too, have put up that much scrappy goodness this month, too!
looks like my desk but nothing of mine is new.
have fun cleaning and then really have fun playing.,

Well I was only able to get half of it put away this weekend since I was not feeling well. I don't mind the cold part, but it is the nausous feeling that really gets me. Today is another day and I am hoping to tackle more of it. I too have the white cubes. I love them. I want more, but I am out of room in my scrappy room.
Thank you Laura for posting your pics, I don't feel as bad as I did

A box of things came for me on Friday - I think it was Friday - the days are mushing together any more - of $105 worth of stuff that I got with my gift cards. I oo'ed and awed over them in my bedroom, then put them on my chest of drawers before turning out the light.
When I woke - I forgot they were there, went out for coffee and when I came back to get dressed? The CATS had knocked everything off the chest and were playing amidst the stuff!! I was ready to kill!! Good thing not one thing was damaged, not even the paper - or I wouldn't have been happy. But it was my fault, I know!!
I can't say enough about spending the money for the Scrapbox! They are like $1800 for that armoir style, and I love it - it makes things easily organized, and easily put away. However. . . if not for the flood, and the replacement furniture fund, I never would have been able to afford it! I just knew I had to have furniture for my living room/bedrooms/kitchen/dining/etc. and worked it into the budget. It's a wonderful WONDERFUL item - and I use it daily. My son once asked me if I ever open it anymore - because everything is so neat - and I said I rarely have a day that I don't open it up, but it folds up everything in it. There are tons of drawers, and it's easy to organize, so much better than having an entire room to organize. So if you ever find yourself in a position to be able to get one - DO IT! I love it so much, that I bought no furniture except a day bed and a desk for the second bedroom, and bought the sewing cube armoir for in that room.
BTW - my son says when I die - whoever wants to haul out the Scrapbox AND stuff inside - it's theirs for free. I said "Tell people that and it'll be gone in a second!"
