I'm guessing folks liked the Digi Doable Challenge from last month, because there was great participation! So, in honor of all the paper gals who participated (and I hope will continue to participate), I'm going to take the liberty of renaming it...the TEMPLATE CHALLENGE!
Templates are a great start when you're stuck, need a little inspiration, or simply want a jump start on your layout. I hoard templates...there are tons of resources for free ones out on the internet. This one, is courtesy of our own ACOT freebie store!
EDIT: Courtesy of random.org, this month's template challenge winner is wheeliegirl! Congrats!
This is the template we will use this month...it can be found here.... http://www.acherryontop.com/shop/digita ... 20Template
This is my example......
As you can see, I rotated the template to better fit the orientation and feeling of my photo. Then I moved around a few of the elements, like the title and the arrow, and added a few other items to make it my own. Easy peasy layout! (By the way..this gorgeous kit with wonderful elements and fall colors is coming soon from Hot Flash Designs - keep your eyes peeled! - much thanks to Marci for letting me post this early). Make this template your own!
Rules (of course, we must have those, right?)
* New layouts only please! No combining with other challenges...i want you to get your scrapping done!
* Paper, digi, hybrid, all are welcome. Paper scrappers can use the template as a sketch.
* Must be posted in this thread by 11:59 pm November 30.
* One random winner will be chosen for a prize!
* Most important of all....HAVE FUN!!!

How true, a sketch or template work for me to get me started and I do like this one. Love your LO too. So colorful!

Great challenge!
FYI for others who may already have this saved, it was from August 2010. (and the great thing about using an old one is that there are several examples in the Gallery!)
Thanks for doing this challenge again, I liked last months, and really like this one too. I like the way you flipped it on your example!
