Scrap-A-Day, November 3rd

Good afternoon Cherries! Anyone scrapping today? Making scrappy purchases? I need to add a title and journaling to the layout that I'm doing for the BF Sketch Challenge, then I'll be done. However, SIL is here doing a couple of loads of laundry and she brought Max & Bella with her. So I'm not sure when I'll get to the layout. DH and I have already ran our errands - Post Office and Bank, then we drove around neighborhoods, looking to see if anything was for sale. We have been wanting to move for a while, but now with his new job and a pay raise, we can plan a little better and save a little faster. We won't be moving anytime soon, not for another year or so, but its nice to look at the neighborhoods and stuff. We took Jeffrey with us, so he was WORN OUT when we got home. He was so sweet that he wanted me to hold him, which I took advantage and grabbed him while DH got things ready for his bath. I had already bathed the other three dogs yesterday, and he was growling all day yesterday. If he growls and bares his teeth, you can't pick him up. So we took advantage of today and he was so good. He already has gotten some doggie treats (along with the others and Bella & Max). I then cleaned the bathroom and will be washing towels later. I'm ready relax now and scrap.

And you?

I'm moving things around in my bedroom to have a little workout space in there. Now that the weather is turning colder and the leaves are all down on the bike trail I'm not getting outdoor exercise. This means that my scrap stuff is going back down in the dining room....again. Oh well my family doesn't mind and I have a nice bakers rack to put my stuff on and a large dining room table to work on. The room has excellent lighting too. I'm purging some stuff as I go...I have too much stuff. When I first started scrapping I bought everything. Now years later, I realize there are some things I'm never going to use. Also my style has changed a bit and there are some papers I don't like anymore.

That's the same with me. I bought so much when I first started. I've been purging my stuff too and giving it away.

I have been cleaning house today, getting ready for my Mom, Dad, brother and sister-in-law, and my nephews to come celebrate my birthday with me, while we watch the Buckeyes beat Illinois! :) I did get one layout done this morning, though.

I got all my errands done this morning, and no children to watch tonight, so I plan to scrap!! DH will leave for work soon, and the night is mine. I have a lo on the table, no challenge though. As soon as I get it finished, will choose a challenge to work on. Just picked up another picture order, so I have LOTS to choose from!

I'm working on creating a challenge layout for you all... hope you don't mind if it's late. And I need to pick out some pictures to print. I have pictures of the kids all over my locker at work, but got told very clearly that I need to update them because when they went to a friend's house, she almost didn't recognize them because they were older! lol --- Granted....most of the pictures are 4 years old lol!

Gorgeous work!

I am scrapping in a way. I went to a crop 2 wks ago and still haven't unloaded my car. I had been storing everything in our dining area, but I don't work on it enough to justify having it there all the time so my neglected sewing room/library is now becoming my scrap room too.

Well I was in my scrappy room by 9 am and by 11am DH needed a ride to go and pick up a boat that was being given to him. So of course the girls and Jake are at work so that only left me. So now I am home and I lost my ambition to be in my scrappy room. I am trying to head there but it is a bit difficult and I don't know why. I was "collecting" scrappy stuff this past week and was able to get it all put away this morning. Now I need to push myself to get back up there and actually scrap. I want to do the BF #24 challenge, so I better get a move on.

Lovely LO's ladies! That nasty cold got me down again and after taking some meds, I konked out while a nurse was here to take care of ds. Boy did I sleep! I gues I needed it. Now it's afternoon, no scrapping, no laundry done, nothing planned to cook...eeeek! Glad we get another hour, LOL.

Glad you were able to give him a bath and that he was sweet. I love looking around the neighborhood to get ideas of different things we could do to our house.
