I posted this a few days ago and thought I would show the end result. I'm going to make more folders for other occasions, but I'm giving this as a gift today.
I bought some May Arts ribbon from my lss last week and I decided to check out their blog. I found this great post showing how to make a greeting card keeper. There are so many ideas out there for storing greeting cards but this one seems to be easier for me to make.
I like the idea of the 3 ring binder because it's sturdy and big. I made this for my mom's 80th birthday and I think this will be easier for her to hold and get to her cards. I made and bought cards to put in the pockets also. Here is the link to the blog

Thought I would bump this back up to the top of the message board to show the pics of my mom's present. She is 80 tomorrow and she always buys cards ahead of time so she doesn't have to run to the store everytime there is a holiday or birthday. I think she will like this, she can just slip her cards in the pockets. I plan to make more but this is a start.

Awesome!!! You did a great job and it's a great gift! I might do this for my aunt for Christmas. It's always a chore trying to figure out what to get her, she'd love this.
TFS!!!

That is adorable! What a great gift- make a few cards and stuff them in there, but the book alone is enough- it is so cute!

Nice job and I am sure your mom will love it.
