help please
hey i need help making invites for my sons bday...i have them all planned out and everything i just dont know what size i should cut the paper 2 make them...please any tips would be helpful

if you plan to use the standard envelopes like you can find in a box at Walmart the best size is 1/2 a sheet of 8 1/2X11. Then fold that in half to make the card or cut in half to make a non-fold card.

It depends on the size of the envelopes you find. What I do is I cut a rectangle 9 x 5.5. This allows me to make 2 cards out of a 12x12. I then fold the rectangle in half, which yields a card 4.5 x 5.5. I found envelopes this size at Office Max.

You can also cut the rectangle 8 x 5 and then fold in half for a 4 x 5 card.

Before I embelish it, I usually mat it. I cut a rectangle 4 x 5 out of a piece of paper or cardstock and glue it to the front of the card. Then I embelish to my hearts content!
