Hey everyone!
I write a blog www.scrapdigitally.com and this week I'm talking about all the different reasons to join online communities such as this one. As I was writing my reasons, I wondered why everyone else did! Visit my blog to view my reasons, them come back here and let me know why you do! I'm very interested. I love getting involved with others with the same interests as me, and really honestly want to get more connected. Thanks! I look forward eagerly to hearing from you!

- Inspiration. Seeing what others do gives me ideas for how to do a LO or what I want to include in a book.
- Advice. Figuring out the best way to do something or the best materials to do it.
- Try New Things. Challenges motivate me to try new things and develop my skills.
- Connect. There are no crops or groups in my area to talk about these things with.
- Learning New Things/Techniques. I'd never even heard of "quilling" until joining an online community. I don't really want to try it right now; but, one day, I might.
- Freebies, Discounts & Give-Aways. Scrapping can be an expensive hobby...so any help I can get is always appreciated
- Fun. Experiencing my hobby in a new way.

- Inspiration in the gallery and from each other
- Good challenges, if they don't have good, quality challenges then I don't join
- I scrap digitally now so they are my best resource for knowledge and know how. Everything I know I have learned from online. But then, everything I know about scrapping, period, I have learned online
- Shop - I rarely to never buy at a brick and mortar and never have so whether it's digi or paper, I join communities that have a reputable shop attached.
1 - to keep my motivated
2 - to learn about new products and techniques
3 - to go outside my comfort zone and try those new products and techniques
4 - the online crops and challenges
5 - Because scrappers are the nicest people, so they make the nicest community!

1. I love being part of a community - there's a lot of support and encouragement and fun among all the scrappers. Everyone knows you and accepts you.
2. I have no place to buy scrapping supplies locally so I buy online. I go to communities that have great stores.
3. I love challenges and a chance to win free goodies too so I like places that have lots going on.
4. I no longer buy scrap magazines so it's the best place for all types of inspiration

I love being part of a community. It is someplace to hang out, since I'm housebound. This is where I get most of my inspiration and encouragement!

Mary Love is all around you.
I joined ACOT to meet other people that scrapbook, to ask questions and learn about new products and techniques. I also like looking through the gallery for inspiration and enjoy chatting on the board. As a work from home mom, with one son away at school and the other one going to school and working it is getting very quiet around here all day long, which for now isn't a bad thing.

Life is good, and even better when the SUN is shining!
The main reason is because its great to make friendships with others that share your love of paper crafting. And also its awesome to be a part of a group that has some extremely talented ladies to get inspiration from. Scrapbookers are the most kindest and generous caring people I know and its great to part of a community filled with these woman.
1. To find out what's going on in our hobby, to keep connected on what's new, going on, etc.
2. To be among like-minded people
3. challenges/inspiration

to connect with others who share the same passion for the craft!! Making new friends, learning new ideas, gleaning inspiration.
There are so many reasons, first would be the inspiration you get from other members. The gallery gives you ideas you may have never thought of yourself, the challenges get you out of your comfort zone, and it feels great to accomplish something you did not know you could do. And the people are great!!!! I have never had a question go unanswered, everyone is so willing to help. I suppose in part its because we all share the love of scrapbooking. Its just a great way to join others with the same passion.

I am a social animal (surprise surprise, huh? lol) I like the camaraderie, the ? and a , the fun of a mb. I love challenges and interaction. I joined my first one in 2001 when we first moved to Fl. I didn't know anyone and I had lost my community of croppers in St. Louis when we moved. I was tired of scrapping by myself and I found the old ckmb...where I met our Pam B and the rest is history. I love it here!
WAS a TIKI BAR GIRL AND ALWAYS WILL BE

I love the feeling of community and scrapping with like minded people. LOVE the challenges, and particularly sketches and "step by step"s or "follow the leader". They are great for the flagging mojo!
Competitions are good. And probably the utmost importance is for the wonderful inspiration you can get from this fantastic gallery!!

I love them for the friendships, fun and inspiration and having a great store (like ACOT) is also important to me too! Then I have all the good stuff in one place!
