Since CK went to 8 issues a year, the March issue is now a March/April issue. My guess is that is why it is coming out later than usual.

Got SB Etc. last week (not a very exciting issue, at least I thought), but no CK here either!

I only know about it because I read about it on another chat board, then checked inside my last issue in the area where they give info about the publisher, etc. Sure enough, there it was in little type -- published 8 times a year. Don't know if or when it was announced to subscribers.

Yeah, it kind of sucks. But I just love my magazines, and I really don't want them to go under, so 8 is better than none... But it is kinda lame for them not to tell people.

I have sorta given up on subscribing to any..I am still with SB ETC....but I was never reimbursed when others went under...so I have resorted to buying off the shelf....

I read that, too- only 8 issues now with no notice. I got my renewal notice, and the price hasn't went down. I am a magazine addict, though, so I'll probably still sub. I do get Scrapbook Trends and SB etc., too. Scrapbook Trends never disappoints, but SB etc. seems to be hit or miss lately.

I had heard about this change too! I think it is being done to help with the tough times they have been going through. I hate that I had to let all my mag subs go last year. Just couldn't justify the expense.

I was wondering about that also so I checked at the grocery store today and the March/April issue wasn't in the store. I had seen a comment on twitter about an article in the new issue so it should be coming soon.

My subscription expired which is probably a good thing. I can always pick it up at Hobby Lobby.

If you let it lapse, the offers are usually better.

I haven't been excited about this magazine lately and am a subscriber. I will probably not be renewing even though I love getting magazines.

I was just thinking about missing the march issue of CK this morning. Thanks for explaining. It's sad that so many magazines are going under. I love reading them. Here in Holland we have 2 Dutch mags but they are linked to stores so always the same people submitting and only with product that you can get in that store. Don;t think that's a good thing.


Guess, we'll just have to wait for the march/april issue!
