Yikes!!  

Yeah I have many old ones that I'd like to re-do. Seems the more advanced we get, the more we are critical of our old work. 

LOL... Kathy posted some of my old ones during the crop and I was cringing!  We are definitely critical of our older work but that is a GOOD thing, right?  It means we like how we've grown. 

 I have a very similar layout made that same year-with that same paper! LOL
It's really not all bad though!

 I love looking back at old layouts and see how far we all come.

It just reminds me, that I really should finish that album for him! 

 I think I did the same LO Amy!  My hubby was there too and i was at home meeting general Shinseki!

Isn't it funny how far we have come or changed, I guess.....in so many different ways.

 I wouldn't redo it. I think it looks nice. It is just real simple and classy.

 I wouldn't redo it.  It's vintage scrapping.  LOL  That was your tecnique back then and it's what makes you and the LO special.

 I agree with the other ladies...it is vintage scrapping...its a testament to how much you have learned and how much your style has changed. We all have stuff like that. Don't change it. Its validation of your progress. (Aren't you glad you have progressed?) If its part of a gift you still want to finish, then pull that page out and keep for yourself and redo it with the same pic. Then you will really have a before and after validation.  How would you redo that page now? Hmmmmm maybe we need a challenge like that....Show off a beginner piece and then redo it....just thinking out loud here....I think I want to see that....

 My dd was just looking at my first album- I was quite scared of it, too!
I don't have the time to re-do any though, I think it's fun to see how much progress I've made!
I do wonder sometimes how I'll feel about the ones I'm doing now in about 5 years...

 I'd keep it too! 

It's kinda fun to look back at the old stuff and see how much you've improved.  You should see my first work!

 I like to look at some of my old layouts and to see how much my scrapping has grown.

 lol, what's so bad about it? good photo though, one for the record, right?
 i still shudder when i see those decorative scissors maim my old photos
