 How many pictures do you like to use?  For 1 12x12 layout...do you like to use 1 picture...or more than 1.

I am like the paparazzi at my house...my nickname from the kids.  Therefore, I usually try and put as many pictures as I can in a layout...so they're together.

But, i've seen some of the layouts with just one picture, and beautifully embellished..so now I want to try that.

Which do you prefer?

 Mine are a pretty good mix, I think. Just depends on how many pictures I have for the event I guess.

 that question is like "Which came first, the chicken or the egg" around here. I think we all go through stages. When I first started to scrap in 99, it seemed the idea was to use lots of pics... then the trend turned to the 1 pic lo. I do not think one is better than the other, It just depends on the mood. I will say that if you want to scrap a lot of photos, or tell an entore story--it seems that the more, the merrier. However, I have seen some pretty amazing 1 pic lo's

So to answer your question, it just depends on the mood, if I am tired of a particular event/holiday, and how many pics I have for a particular theme I guess

 I tend to only use one, especially when paper scrapping.

 I seem to do either from just one to three or in double digits.  The ones with lots are almost always digi layouts.

 Whatever you like!  Try doing a double layout and one page one pic and the other multiples!  It depends on the pics, the event, etc.  I love both!

 I usually do lots of pics. I also take a lot and then I can't choose only one.

 I take way to many pictures to just put one on a page.

Lately I find my fav pic(s) from the event and then start looking at sketches to see where it all leads. sometimes all it takes is one- others I want more pics to tell the story...

 For me, it usually depends. Most of my 12x12 Lo have 1-2 pictures. My 2 page Los have 5-7 pics. I like using fewer pics.

 I like to use lots of pics since my dh takes so many great photos!  I do use only one photo when I want a little variety in my albums.

 I usually don't take that one "Wow" picture.  Most of my layouts are of my grandchildren and the layout tells a story - so I need more than one picture to tell that story.  I would like to try to do them with just one photo.

 I do both, depending on the subject.  If I want to tell a story about a certain event, then I use several pictures and lay some of them crooked on the page.  Occasionally, I will put just one picture on a page, but I prefer the cluttered look.  Besides, I have so many pictures that it would take me forever to scrap them if I just did one.  If you have a lot of pictures left over and don't want to put them in a box, you can use a 2 1/2 inch punch and just make a picture collage.  I like that look. 

When I paper scrap I tend to use more than one. I try with just one but I never like the results. When I digi scrap I like to use only one.

 I do a bit of both. I used to do a lot of one pic LOs but I'm like you with taking a ton of pics and it was just getting ridiculous! Now I usually put at least three pics per page, sometimes more, and occasionally less - especially if it's an enlargement.

I do both. It really depends on witch pictures I have and what I wanna tell. When you make a digi page it´s pretty easy to use a blurry picture as a background (blendig) and a good picture as the one that tells the story, and since I often have some bad pics I do that often. LOL!

 When I scrap a "moment", I generally do one pic on 12x12.  When I am scrapping an "event", I use anywhere from 1-5 on a page. 

 Well, being that I take a whole heck of alot of pictures for one occation.  I tend to use more than one  I think most of my LO's have about three per 12x12 page.  Now I'm trying to do one per page cause that's what i see most of these ladies do, and use alot of embellies.  But to answer your question: about 3
