Hey i just wanted to mention to everyone that martha is now bringing her things to qvc. i don't know if any of you have noticed that but she is. i have researched things about her and my michaels around me and believe you me they only time you can use the 40% off coupon on her stuff is when the season is just about over with. thats when no one is buying her things. i can't help the way i feel about this rich woman. i have said it in the past and i still feel this way but there are an awful lot of companys that have nicer things than her that have been in this business a lot longer than her.

I think her things are way over priced.
She had some sheets and stuff at K-mart. I could get better quality stuff at JCPenny on sale.

Seriously?
This is what, the THIRD time you have posted about your dislike for MS. Fine, you don't like her. We get it.
If you don't like her, don't buy her stuff and let it go.

was in Michaels a few weeks ago. I always like to see the clearance stuff. I actually found her scalloped circle punch for $6! Works awesome.
Not touching the MS dislike stuff w/ a 10 foot pole!

WOW Never have seen comments like this before on ACOT. Someone was just giving us their point of view. Sometimes it is good reading what other people have to say about products. After all isn't what this MB is for?
Can I get you a coffee or something?
Michele

I've bought a few of her things...like the glue pad, and a couple of punches I could use...prices weren't bad...I got them at Walmart

I noticed Walmart is starting to carry her stuff too.
I really like the craft kits. They had one where you could make puppets...stuff like that. I thought those were pretty cute. I really like her scrapbooking stuff but can't see spending that kind of money. I'll have to check it out in the clearance sections.

We have a KMART right next door so in a pinch, I've purchased a few things from her line :) Mainly bathroom accessories and a clothes hamper since it was the only one I could find with three detachable bags. A bit more than I wanted to spend but it's sturdy for what we need!

I had posted a month or so ago that I saw a few of her things at AC Moore. I was not too crazy about them, they looked more like home decor than scrappy items and were muted colors - brown, yellow and blue. Since then I have seen a few more items stocked and they are more colorful; Last week I did buy a bottle of glitter glue and some glitter, but have not used them yet. The quality looks top notch as all MS stuff does.

WOW! Good thing you just joined ACOT. What I posted to her (5 DAYS AGO) was SO tame compared to what would have been posted before we all got PC and "nice".
A duck is a duck and a whiner is a whiner and a pig in lipstick..... Call it......
ETA: My pig in lipstick comment is not against Sara Palin. Just making a point.

I haven't bought anything MS yet. But evvery time I go into Walmart, I do take a gander over to the scrappy area and I keep looking at her punches - especially the butterfly one. It looks so neat and easy to use. On pricing, well it's just like any of the scaping stuff that we want, if we really want it , then we'll buy. Just my own personal opinion. That's the way I feel.

I admire her for being a fighter in a predominantly man's world. It can't be easy for a sister out there.
That doesn't mean I have to like her products.
Some, I do... and those I don't....I don't spend my hard-earned $$$ on.
