Tombo make a mono vellum adhesive that works well with acetate. I just took 2 classes at Archiver's - one for an acetate greeting card and the other for an acrylic mini book and you can barely see it. It works better on the clear things than it does on vellum! They keep selling out of it so it may be hard to find....

You could staple it down, or put the adhesive under a spot on it where you're going to put something over it. Does it have a place where you could attach a little tied ribbon on one end?

I usually use brads, but make sure u puncture the hole with something like tiny hole punch or something similar so it doesnt wrinkle it.

can you ink the edges and rub glue on the backside where the ink is?

brads, staples, any sort of attachment like that works well. You can also hide the seam by lining with ribbon or paper so there is no visible adhesive.

i usually staple but i like the look of mixed media on a page. sometimes a brad will work. diamond glaze is also a good adhesive for those things.
