Hello Cherries...wishing safety to those of you facing winter storms.

Got up early and headed out to the 90% Hobby Lobby Christmas sale. My first time ever going the morning of. Complete madness!!!  I went there to get gifts for my classroom kiddos for the next two years...40 cents per kid, can't beat that!!  Only spent about 50 bucks total and am also stocked on wrapping paper, tape and some extra Christmas decor. Saw ladies with 6-7 overflowing carts...just crazy!

Hoping to scrap a bit now that I'm home.
Oh, wow!  You are brave!  lol  Great deals, though. :)

Hey Cherries 😊 I'm even more distracted today I think lol I quit smoking cigarettes for New Year's and don't want to tell my BFF that I've cheated. (Haven't smoked much and AM wearing the patch, but one is one and two is two, right?)
ANYWAY lol I'm gonna go check out ALL the challenges! I NEED to do something scrappy today!
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️😊
Keep up with scrapping...it's a great distraction!

Hey Cherries! Late coming on today. It’s another chilly morning. Steve’s been having trouble keeping the fire going. It either burns too fast or it smolders and doesn’t put out enough heat. But it coils be a lot worse. So I’ve been sitting in bed with the electric blanket and the space heater on, and the turbo heater has been running for a couple of hours… It’s still only 64 in the bedroom. So I’ll just hang out here for awhile longer. Lol!

Im still stiff and sore from my fall and my leg is still swollen. But I can get around as long as I pay attention. And I can’t sit very long without really getting stiff. I’m so very glad it wasn’t any worse!!!! No more chasing chickens for me! Lolol!

I got 2 cards made last night to send with the mini albums. We will go to town sometime in the next 2 days and I’ll mail them then. I’m hoping it helps my oldest grandson (21 in March) to get out of his depression. My brother and daughter are really worried about him. So please say prayers and good thoughts for my Noah. Thanks!

Today I will do more work on my kitchen. Waiting for some organizers to arrive. And I’ll be scrapping too if I can. Time will tell. :) We have leftover ham so I think I’ll make either Mac and cheese with ham or potatoes au gratin with ham. Need to go get my casserole dishes from the cabin first. Along with other things. Lol! As we need things we bring them over. Kind of an easy move! :)

Hope you’re all having a blessed day!!!
In all the holiday craziness, I missed that you had a fall.  I hope you are on the mend!  Will be praying for Noah...winter is such a hard time for a lot of people.  If they haven't tried a SAD light, it's definitely worth a try.  It helps me tremendously, along with being so busy with our school musical.

I am really late.  I had to do a search to find you.  Thankful we can do that! LOL  I have spent the day writing down challenges, spending my cherries and ACOT gift card that our daughter gave me for Christmas.  I put things in the basket, took them out, put others in!  Not that I need a thing!  But sure will be fun to get it all.  I had some other I ordered earlier.  It is all on hold now. (because I didn't know how to get it and the other on hold)  Oh, well, something I ordered won't come right away anyway.  I think I might get more cherries and spend some more.  LOL  But, oh, I won 1000 cherries in random drawing for the journal sketch, today and they are spent with the rest! LOL
I spent all 6000 cherries plus my gift card!  Whahoo!

What about you all? Do you save a bunch before spending them?  6000 was the most I ever had.  Actually 7000, but only spent the 6000.

I have done absolutely no crafting in 2025.  I guess I better change that right now.
Toodles

I usually have a bunch before I spend them, too.  I think the most I've spent is 5000, though.  Enjoy your goodies when you get them!

Glad your ants are gone.  That is one of the best things about cold winters here....all the pesky bugs die!  lol

Except the ones that want to come hibernate in your house!

True!  lol  We have found the Terro ant bait liquid works very well, because they take it back to their nests, and it is not anywhere that our pets can get to it!

We've had stinkbugs before. Luckily, not a lot, but a couple have found their way in. And definitely the Asian lady beetles! We've had swarms of them in the past.

Yes, we get those, too.  Somehow, there are always a couple that find a way to live out the winter. Not too bad, though.

Thanks so much Laura! I’d forgotten about the SAD lights. I’ll be sure to tell my daughter! Thanks so much for your prayers too!!!
