I sorta stopped keeping lists when things got super busy and having the list made it more stressful than fun so for me the list is and will remain for some time
1. What I can
2. when I can
3. With is as much fun as I can
Right now I am working on a baby book for a friend and some invitations for a shower.

I am a complete mess! I can't get anything completed. I have a million ideas floating in my head of projects/ layouts i would like to complete but nothing is organized to make my life easier.
So here is my to-do list.
1. Organize pictures into the different projects i want to complete.
2. Complete my 3 kids albums (mostly old pictures)
3 Start a "Band Trip" Album
4. Complete my Nieces Communion Mini Album which was supposed to be a gift (communion was in May)
5. Make a Scrapbook for a gift for a friend's daughter's Sweet Sixteen. (party is August 21)
Geez i have so many plans that i would need a thread just for myself.

My list is too long but summing it up I need to do:

4. Busch Gardens Trip...took 900 photos, have 3 layouts done!
5. Son in Football Uniform layout (I made it 13 years saying NO to Football...he won this year...his FIRST year playing and apparently he's very good and is starting on both offense AND defense. First game Friday)

7. Little River Band concert (I know, I know...but it was fun!) layout;

This is a great idea. I'm all the time doing that, writing stuff down and forgetting where I put the list. Now we will all know where the list is. Thanks,

Here's my list. I haven't scrapped in months, so maybe this will get me going.
1) Clean up my scrap room which has gotten into a mess with stuff that doesn't belong there. I can't do any scrapping until I get that done.
2) Scrap the pics of Godchild Jamie's July visit.
3) Organize the old family pics from Mom's old album.

Ha ha!!! That is so funny because that was me too!! I wanted a voice recorder for years just so I wouldn't get in an accident driving down the road and writing scrappy ideas on any piece of paper I could reach.JulesinParadise wrote:I use to keep a voice activated little tape recorder in my car. It seemed I got my best ideas driving down a busy street! I do keep a pen and paper pad next to my bed and one in the car as well...lost the recorder! I have a notebook too. I tear out the pages and put them on the bboard in front of my work table.
I have notes here and there - multiple journals - not hard to find, I just don't think to go back and look. I also have a WORD doc with ideas ...but now i wonder if that was transferred on to the new computer. I am also reminded that there is a list of mini album ideas held with a magnet onto the fuse box door above my scrap table. Man - I would like to finish out or start some of those!
I like this idea...and how about we put completion dates" behind so we can review our progress.
Rita's To Do List
1. LO "On His Watch" - Kyle in civil war uniform guarding the house with his toy musket (use TH clock mask)
2. Mini - memories growing up on the farm using MM farm animal chipboard shapes
3. Mini - Our Xmas Traditions
4. Mini for sister of her Haiti pictures using MM Palm Tree mini book and BoB Paradise papers
5. LO - "bottoms up" - Kyle as babe in his cute onesie with the parrot head on his bottom (use BG bird paper)
6. LO - "Southern Belle" Abby dressed in pink with large pink hat - doing a battle reenactment with Kyle 7. Xmas Angel Layout - Journaling:
This is our beautiful Christmas angel dressed in a deep red velvet dress. I picked her out the year I wanted to surprise Jesse and bought a full size Xmas tree. We had had a smaller 5' tree since we were married, and I wanted a tree with presence. I found the tree and the store personnel were kind enough to load it into my vehicle. My dad was nice enough to meet me at home (it was a few days before Xmas) to help me get it in the living room, since I was having back issues at the time and lifting it was out of the question. The goal was to get it all decorated and surprise Jesse when he walked in from work around 4 pm. I believe I had it almost done, but for the angel. I was too short to put her on top so she has become his responsibility to place on the tree. The tree was so big we always had to squeeze that angel in between ceiling and tree top. I love how her hand-held candles glow on the ceiling.
Now, years later, that big ol' tree filled our living room too much (as we have acquired furniture such as an upright piano, grandmother's buffet) etc. Two years ago we downsized to a smaller, slim tree. Our angel even looks a bit big, and I can't even fit all my favorite ornaments on it - because the kids ornaments have taken over. Sometimes I consider replacing the angel with a Bethlehem Star, but unless she breaks, there really is no reason to. I think of the heavenly hosts that proclaimed the birth of Christ to the shepherds in the fields when I see her.
I have even took photos of her with intent to scrap a page - guess I better add this to my to do list!
