LMAO! I even *know* this rule! DH was promptly informed that Beth has 52 sets and look how frugal I am??

Image Did it work? That sounds like something I would try.

LOL Beth... yes, and no. It depends if he is in trouble or if I am! He keeps "threatening" me with not being allowed to buy more scrap supplies (yeah right, that's cute!) OR if I catch him being naughty (for instance today he ate like, a gazillion of my homemade cupcakes) he says "but we could get you more thickers so you can catch up!". I'm going to have to figure out how to get him to do something REALLy bad! Image

Re: So how bad IS it...
Image He sounds like mine. If he wants a new cell phone or other electronic item, he will tell me to purchase new sb supplies. He will say it all sweet and innocent and I get so excited and distracted, I usually forget to question why he volunteers more stuff.

Make sure to tell him how many of other things I "have" that you want, lmao! If you want the new FP felt, make sure to tell him I have 5 packs, for example. By the time you catch up with my imaginary supplies, your wish list will be filled.

The "don't you remember me telling you about this" always works. Image For mine, sadly, it is usually true.

LOL! I am DYING over here! I read this whole thing to my Dh and now he is walking around saying "hey, that is a great idea!" to the thought that he can start getting new electronics by suggesting new scrap stuff. Greeeaaaaaat.

I cannot believe you have 5 FP felt sets! Color me jealous! I have been coveting these since they came out but I keep thinking that they are just SO pricey. I have some on the wishlist though. I may need to bite the bullet soon. As for the "don't you remember this talk?" line... that one never works for me. Even when I am genuinely annoyed because we DID have that talk he still doesn't remember and insists he never did. Grr.

Re: So how bad IS it...
I actually only have 4 sets, lol, and one was a Christmas gift from a friend of mine. I love the felt because you get 4 12x12 sheets and the pieces are really thick. I buy felt all the time for my etsy shop and 2 or 3 regular sheets aren't this thick if you put them together. I also like how they process it because it doesn't pull or change shape like some of the cheaper felts. I want to say they press the material because it is solid and doesn't have fibers fraying off. I am trying to get to the point that the felt is high quality and I am very impressed with it.

Now that ACOT carries it, you could use your 40% off one item and try it.

LMAO that your dh likes the idea of electronics for sb items. You could also trade him other things Image but in my experience that doesn't work as well. Image

I think the only remedy is to mail some to those less fortunate ones :)
