Well it's no longer 60 degrees but the sun is shining!!  We did a shiload of errands this morning and are finally back home.  DH made some vegetable chili for our Blupper (Breakfast, lunch and supper...LOL!).  I'm having a small bowl now and saving room for more later.  Heading to my craft space in a bit and may check out some of the new product in the store.  Oh, and see the new live video.

Have fun in your craft room Vicki! And enjoy shopping!!!

You guys...we went to Best Buy last Saturday for a new computer. We don't really upgrade as much as we run technology into the ground and are forced to buy something new. We ran Windows XP until it was no longer supported and had to get Windows 10. Now, the old system wouldn't even be able to run Windows 11 so we had to bite the bullet and get a whole new system. It's an "all in one" so there is not even a separate CPU. It's all part of the monitor. I mean, I remember having to have a desk that was 3 feet x 5 feet just to accommodate the computer and printer. It's gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but I had high hopes of being able to just plug and play and be having video calls with my friends (old computer didn't have a camera) and it's taken me like 2 days just to find where Word is on this thing LOL, let alone how to make a video call! We have gone from a 19in screen to a 27in screen so my eyes are in heaven! I haven't even started copy editing (because where is Word and were do those saved documents end up? LOL) but I can't imagine how nice it will be on the old eyeballs. And I took several days to copy all my files and photos from the old computer - that was a chore! I also had high hopes of getting a lot of scrapping done this month so I hope to get some mojo and time back for the 2nd half of the month. There are SO many great challenges I want to do!

It’s always hard getting used to new equipment and new versions of technology! When you save documents look at the line where it says “save as”. That’s where it will automatically save documents. But you can change that and tell it where you want it to be saved. Then when you go to look for it you’ll usually find it in the documents folder. Hope that helps!!! And enjoy the big screen!!! I remember having to have the big desk too! We’ve come a long way from that haven’t we?!

Hey Cherries! Brrr it got super cold last night!!! So it’s taking me a long time to wake up today. The sun is shining so it’s deceptively looking warm. I’m going to help Joe bake some lemon bars or Snickerdoodles today. And making white chicken chili for dinner. I got the weekly sketch done at the last minute yesterday. lol! I also need to find his scrapbook and show it to him. I’m not sure he’s seen it yet! Oops! Lolol!!!

Hope you’re all having a great day!!!

Cold, sunny, cloudy and no breeze.  But next storm coming in later this afternoon and it’s a much colder one coming down from Alaska. (You could have kept it a day longer Ginni- I wanted to see the lunar eclipse tonight) lol

Not feeling super well today.  Either a cold or allergies.  Nothing serious but tired and grumpy. Since I’m already somewhat grumpy, figured I’d go clean/scrub the kitchen and even the fridge.

Have a good rest of the day.

It just all looks so different. I did find where it goes - I'm now embracing "the cloud" I guess LOL. And yes, I love my cute little teal and white IKEA desk now instead of the oak monstrosity I used to have LOL :)
