Hey Cherries!!! The weather here is in transition. There’s a big dark cloud hanging on the other side of the mountain across the lagoon with blue skies and sunshine above it. And it’s so still that the water is like glass. It always looks different! We’re supposed to go back down into the 30s for about a week. I’ll pretty much stay inside! Lolol!

I’m feeling MUCH better today thank God! I know I have to be aware if I start hurting again. But I feel like I can at least try doing something today. Yayay!!! Lol!

I’m hoping to get my scrappy area set up and maybe my kitchen counters too. I need to buy some things to help me get that done.

It’s also my daughter Michele’s 44th birthday! How did that happen?! She’s not doing much for her birthday. They have a missing cat and her oldest son Noah won’t go home to his place  waiting for their kitty to come home. :(

Otherwise not much happening. I’ll keep an eye on the football games. Have a great day Cherries!!!!!

Glad you're feeling better

Got another layout done. Lots of fussy cutting due to having just some scraps left of this PhotoPlay collection. Really love how it turned out.

I was going to say Good morning, but it's ater 12pm here, so Good Afternoon! We have absolutely GORGEOUS weather today! Woke up to 52 degrees, low humidity and clear skies. Considering we had 98% humidity yesterday with 70s/90s, we will take 50s/80s for sure. It's every South Texans dream! LOL. Miss Penny has already sunbathed and so has the Shelbster.

Since I ran all of my errands yesterday and Friday, did all the laundry and housework the last 3 days, today is my ME day. Planning on scrapping all day!

This isn't for any challenge, but I was inspired to use this very, Very, VERY OLD Creative Imaginations Transparency sheet. Discovered it while I was cleaning out some of my very full kitty drawers I have. I have 3 and they are STUFFED. Anywho...saw that the Transparency sheet was from 2006! Aaacckkk! Good grief! 2006! So I trimmed it to fit my photos and paired it with a bit of lime green. Had some fun with this layout. And the ribbon was by accident. And get this?!! Those two strands are what was left on a roll! OMG! I don't think I have ever finished ribbon! LOL. So yay me - stash busting!

Image

Now to see what else I want to scrap today....

Hope everyone is having a Fun Sunday!
Your weather sounds lovely! Glad everybody is enjoying it! The layout is beautiful and I love that you went with the lime green - that helps pare down the decisions. And YAY for stashbusting!!! 2006 woohoo! Almost as old as Aisling LOL!

Happy Scrapping!

Re: Scrap a Day, December 29th
Last one for the day. Luckily, dinners are just leftovers :)

This is for the Double LO challenge. Photos are from an Eagle Scout Project that DH and other dad's helped with. A really close friend of ours, her oldest son, was awarded his Eagle Scout a few months ago. Felt the patriotic papers/ephemera worked well with the subject.

Gonna now clean up, heat up leftovers and relax the rest of the evening with DH. He goes back to work tomorrow!
