Cherry Bark

Re: Scrap a Day, December 12th
Good afternoon cherries. Another busy day here. Both DH and I worked late yesterday. Dinner was leftover soup. DH was up and out the door early again. I went on my walk (another chilly day - 37 degrees). Came home, showered and took care of some emails until I headed out the door at 9am. I had my annual woman exam. From there, I ran over to Earthwise to get CBD oil and she had homemade doggie Christmas cookies out so I bought 3. Then I headed home, calling my brother on the way.

Jasper had his double eye surgery today. He was scheduled for surgery at 11am, so my brother took my SIL to the hospital. He took Draven to school and watched Wes and Anton. Jasper was going to be d/c'd at 1pm, so my brother brought Wes and Anton over to my house so he could go to the hospital. He picked them back up at 2pm. Surgery went amazingly well and they gave Jasper the COOLEST sunglasses! Of course, he has redness and swelling. He should be able to go back to school on Monday!

The 2 littles were very well behaved for me. I let them run around outside for a bit, then we came inside to have a snack and watch Bluey. Afterwards they got a little hyper and we played Simon Says. Actually Wes called it "Auntie Brandy Says". LOL. Anton did pretty good, despite being only 18 months old. They sure did make me laugh.

They took off, I folded the towels I had in the dryer and then got started on work. Just taking care of emails for now.

Hope y'all have a great evening.

I picked up my new glasses that broke during my fall.  Luckily I only had to pay for the frames as Lens Crafters from a few pairs that my existing lens would fit.  They are navy blue, and I'll post picks once my black eye and swelling go bye-bye!

I just posted this layout for the Make-the-Cut Challenge. It seems like yesterday I was changing her diaper and now we enjoy a glass of wine together!

Beautiful layout Chris. And I know exactly what you mean. I can't believe my Maddie is 16!

I love that - "Auntie Brandy Says". So cute.

So glad all went well with Jasper's surgery.
