Hi Cherries!

Been another busy week at work and here at home.  I am working today on washing all the bed linens and towels.  My sister is coming for a week.  Why do I always think I have to rewash everything?? IDK!!! But I do!!
I am cleaning, did some food shopping prepping for her visit and Thanksgiving. The grocery was crazy already.

I was able to finish up Black Friday Challenge 2 this morning.  I am not sure about it.... might be too busy.

ok-- back to the cleaning....
have a great day!

Susan, I LOVE it!!! 😍 Lol I wish I'd thought of that! 😂 It DEFINITELY is our happy place here! 😉☺️☺️☺️
I'm glad you're having some fun, in addition to all your cleaning! 😊

Good morning all. I am completing my favorite weekend morning ritual. Sipping tea and organizing my day. We have a lot of cleaning on deck since we are hosting Thanksgiving, and then attending a play that DD worked on. But I am hopeful this evening I will have time to play. I want to make some mini albums for a craft show--although I'm not officially signed up for one this month yet. Maybe that should be my priority.  lol

Oh, how neat that your DD worked on a play! ☺️
Making mini albums sounds fun! Lol nevermind that I have some to finish- I would most likely buy some of I saw them at a crafts fair!! 😉 I hope you get signed up for that fair, too! ☺️
Enjoy your day!

I'm dragging somewhat this morning...LOL!  Busy this past week and up too late several nights.  Had the grands yesterday from 5pm until this morning.  Wasn't in the plan, but would never say no.  We had fun and they were so good.  Today, I am cleaning up the aftermath and catching up on the board.  I never nap, but today may be the first!  LOL!
LOL, Vicki, you've been busy, so I say, have that nap! 😂 This coming from someone who naps a lot! 😅
The Turkey Trot was SUPER FUN! ☺️ Thanks again for hosting!
I hope you get a good nap in today! 😉

Hey Cherries 😊 I've been crafting and napping 😂 STILL feeling a little under the weather but I have to nip it in the bud as I work tomorrow lol!
I had SO MUCH FUN yesterday during the Turkey Trot! (I ALSO got lost in the AMAZING gallery for a few hours! Perfect to do when resting!!)
I finished my card for the Black Friday #2 challenge yesterday, AND created a card for one of the Turkey Trot challenges! SUPER fun!
I have my package from ACOT here and I'm about to open it! I'm looking forward to having some more crafty fun today! 😊
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒❤️😊

Re: Scrap a Day, November 16th
Good morning. I dragged my DH to the Craft show at the convention center this morning. It was sponsored by the Art Museum and was more like going to a gallery than a craft fair. He really enjoyed looking at the glass sculptures and enjoyed himself more than he thought. There was an amazing artist that made large pictures that looked from a distance like paintings but were actually woven paper, a technique that I can't even make look good on a card. Lots of pottery, some clothing, some wooden furniture - these people are really talented. We bought a beautiful wooden cheese board.

We walked all the way there and stopped at Trader Joes on the way back and carried our groceries back so that covers my walk for the day. Working in my scrap room a bit, trying to finish the Tonga/Fiji album although I'm not close because I haven't even printed the Fiji photos yet. Sharing a few pages I did yesterday and today:

the market in the capital city (which is more the size of a small town)

the strange place we stayed and the story of why we stayed there

I can't remember if I already shared this one, but my husband is very proud of this photo

have a great Saturday everyone!

Good afternoon. I went to the crop today but needed to leave early because my back was hurting! We did have yummy chocolate birthday cake for me and two other ladies.

I started four layouts but need some additional stuff that I didn't have. Since my back is still hurting, I'll finish up tomorrow.

Re: Scrap a Day, November 16th
Hola cherries! Been super busy, taking care of things. Worked yesterday until it was time to go to the DAR Meeting. It was actually a DAR "Tea". They honored a local veteran who served in Vietnam. After he was honor. d/c'd, he served on the police force for 34 years. Retired and moved onto to being part of the funeral services for the deceased veterans who are buried at our Veteran Cemetary. In 10 years, he's been at over 4,000.

Since it wasn't a meeting, it was short (just a little over an hour), so I made it home sooner than I thought. Before 5pm. DH worked late again, so afterwards, we went out to eat. Then home to relax. Up early, started laundry, made a quiche for breakfast. After we ate, DH left to go to work. He has a deadline on Tuesday morning and got about 50% done yesterday. So he's hoping that he can get the rest done while nobody is at the office. So he was at work by 9am. I left to go get cat food at PetCo, then to Champs Meat Market to get some steaks for tomorrow night. Back home, and finished up cleaning and doing laundry. My bio dad came over to visit and give us some venison (about 5 lbs).

While I had the last load of laundry in the dryer, I got started on scrapping. TT #1.

I'm hoping to move onto another challenge. It's only 3pm here.

Have a great day cherries.

Hey Cherries. A big thank you to Vicki for the amazing day yesterday. I unfortunately got delayed at my doctor. My follow up was fine he was just so far behind. Between waiting for so long, traffic to and from, and an errand I ran beforehand, I didn’t get much time on the boards or to work on my challenges yesterday. I did get to catch up on the Turkey Trot activities when I got home. Thank you to Vicki for the amount of time she gave to play along.

Today the girls have a follow up vet appointment. Then back to working on my challenges when I get home.

Have a great day Cherries.
Good luck to the pooches and their appt. Hope you get a relaxing day otherwise.
Thanks. They both did well.

Good luck to the girls today!  I am glad that your visit was ok - besides the delays and traffic- boo!
I also did not get to play yesterday either.  Lots going on with work and then I was just plain ol worn out.
I hope to do some challenges though!  WAY to go Vicki for all the inspiration that she cooked up for us!!
IT IS AMAZING!

Thank you. The girls did good. I hope you get to play this weekend.

Thanks, Barb!  It's always fun planning even though I had the camera card glitch.  I did figure a way around it for the time being.  My DD is my IT person and she is in FL for 10 days so when she is here for Thanksgiving she will check it out for me.  Hope you get to some of the challenges.
I'm glad you got something worked out. And I do plan to get to the challenges.

Yes! Big thanks to Vicki for hosting and coming up with some great challenges for us! Today I am catching up on work and we have an instacart order coming this afternoon/evening. DD is out with friends. I printed out all the Turkey Trot challenges and did a card for one. Now I'm getting stuff together for the littles challenge. I've got DD's preschool pictures out so there are a lot of littles in costumes LOL!
Happy Scrapping!

Morning.  Last full day at DD’s in Florida.  Lots planned today of course. lol   Not really feeling up to all the activity around here today either.  Kind of wish I was already home where I can putter around in my housecoat all morning and not get dressed till time to wander down to the mailbox mid afternoon.  Oh dear that sounds like whining.

Anyhow lol. Have a super Saturday

Safe travels home Charleneanne. Enjoy the rest of your time there with them.
