Re: stinkerbelle's September Team thread
I am finding this months list a bit challenging for me. I have a huge stash but I am having a hard time getting them to work together. Also ....am I the only person who dislikes Thickers? Don't get me wrong , I have a bunch but they are never the right color or the right letters and the adhesive is bad so they are are all clumped up in the package. I am going to try and focus on them this month and then probably purge some of them.

I am going to try and make as many pages as possible but my points are going to be small also. Am I correct that we can make one similar substitution on each layout? Example enamel dots for nuvo?

I have sooo many Thickers!  I still love them, but I do find matching colors is often difficult.  And the adhesive is awful. I glue everything.  Even if it sticks now, I find that in a few days it doesn't stick anymore.  My goal is to purge a bunch of them also.  I don't buy as many as I used to.  I just never have enough of the letters I need.

Did not get much done this weekend, but boy did I have more pictures to work with!  We went to the zoo on Saturday - my granddaughter's first visit.  Sunday, we spend the day at the apple orchard and the sunflower / zinnia fields.  so excited to get these printed!

I started a page Saturday morning and used a lot of stencil butter that I had to wait for it to dry.  Hoping to finish it up tonight while the laundry is going.

Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

I didn't get anything done this weekend. I still have 2 to post from last week. Now we're in storm prep mode so I don't see me scrapping this week   :?

i haven't gotten a full 10 stash points on any of my pages yet, so don't feel bad!  a lot depends on the specific combo of A)photos i have available and B)challenges posted.  i chose the premade titles (thinking of all those thickers phrases i have) and have barely used any!

yes, for each page/project you make, you can substitute ONE item on the stash list with a similar item.  enamel dots is a perfect sub for nuvo, but also sequins, bling, etc. any sprinkly bits basically.

i worked all weekend and even though saturday and sunday nights are my two longest shifts, i still only did a few pages each night.  i haven't hit my groove this month.  i'm off now until thursday night and that time will be spent making page kits for thursday through sunday scrapping.

Oh team, this month is not going well for me. I have two very sick kids and on top of that, cleaning my whole house for a social worker visit coming up. (We are in the middle of an adoption) After the social worker leaves, I’ll start scrapping lol! I’ve only done a couple pages, but I still feel confident I can knock out several more.

Blessings to you all! I hope you’re getting more done than me!

Our homestudy visit went well, but then I got really sick with whatever flu my kids had. I’ve still been creating a little here and there.I’m feeling better now and have plans to work hard the rest of this month.

Hope you feel better Magan!  I had a lot going on this past week -- kids came home, ceiling repair in basement, hosting book club here, etc. but I hope to get back to it soon.  These prompts are definitely harder to use and combine.  I haven't even used a banner or embossing folder yet.  I'm also finding the bi-monthly prompts and challenges harder this month too.  Maybe it's just me.

i'm definitely struggling with the stash list and have decided to heck with it, if i can fit something in-great!  otherwise, i'm just doing what i do and being happy with it (well mostly lol).

i'm doing good on the prompts, i think i have like 5-7 of them left.  i have found this batch easier than the last ones.  funny how we all experience things differently, eh?

my "fun" comes from seeing how many things i can stack together (like coupons lol).  i do a lot of non-ACOT challenges and the last few months have really slacked off on those and would like to get back into doing more of them.  they're mostly sketch challenges, which should be easy to incorporate with basically any other challenge, right?  but i have had a block there or something and have been struggling.

anyway, i'm loving seeing what everyone is producing!!  since we're heading into the holidays soon i know we'll have a dip in participation, so i'm soaking it all up while i can  😊

I have a few finished pages that I haven't posted in the thread yet.  I've been keeping track of which ones and how many points.  Right now, I'm stalled because of kid stuff.  I hate it when they wait until the last minute!  Grr!!!

As others have said, I’m struggling with the list more than normal and the bi monthly prompts are harder for me, because I live on a tropical island where we don’t really have fall and don’t celebrate Halloween here.
