My photos print beautifully and I use the HP photosmart 7520.  I also print using an after market ink refill, so I don't have to worry about spending a lot of $ on ink.  It's VERY inexpensive and the ink is good quality.
So did you use the after-market (???) ink on your 4th of July photos or have them printed - they look great.  I don't know what after-market ink is; can you explain because I have 4 hp printers.
Those were printed on my printer.  Aftermarket ink - I go to amazon and buy refill bottles, and then when I need to, I fill up my cartridges using ink syringes.  There are 2 different brands that I've used with my HP and I like them both, I only go with brands that have consistently good reviews.  The downsides for me, is that it can get a little bit messy, not too bad though, and that my printer always thinks it's low on ink, b/c once it registers a low cartridge it won't recognize it when it is filled up - they have chips on them.

I am a Walgreens gal!  Although if I want fun sizes for my instagram pictures, I use printstagram.  Walgreens does 4x4 and 8x8 but they don't do the smaller sizes (2.5x2.5) or photo strips.  I usually wait on a sale or occasionally they offer free 8x10s and collage prints.  I like to print collage prints because I can get different sized pictures to scrap with.  My minion layout was pictures cut from a collage. I never print at home.  My printer sucks!

Re: Do You Print Your Photos...
I print at home on a Canon Selphy CP910 and an HP Wide format printer. The Selphy lets me take a photo on my phone and wirelessly send it to my pic or the photo printer. It's pretty impressive, but expensive to use. I'm going to check out the companies in Mildred's post, though. Thank you Mildred.
