I have some canvas and altered items that I'm working on. I haven't crafted in so long that I'm having lots of fun.

This is the first time working in the room and I just love how I can walk away and not have to clean it up. For years I had to clean up the dining room table after each craft or scrappy session so we could eat. My kitchen is too small for a table so we eat all our meals in the dining room. The best part, if it is too messy I can shut the door, love that Image
How exciting to finally have your own space! Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Do you at least get a loaner car until your baby is fixed up new again?

Love this layout!  The bracket frame is really cool, and such sweet pictures!
Yeah, they would probably give me a loaner, but I don't really need it.  With Mike being off work from his surgery, I can just drive his.  The weather here has been so crappy, we haven't been able to call the tow truck to get it to the shop.  We will have to meet them there, of course, and the county where I teach and left it is on a Level 2 snow emergency, which means only necessary driving...somehow, I think it can wait a little.  Pretty sure we won't have school tomorrow. :(

I think that's why I never was interested in getting a puppy...I've done enough baby raising with just my two legged animals! lol I'll keep my lil' ole' grown up doggie.

Not too fun.  Just got DD#1 a pair of jeans; DS spent some Christmas money on a small Lego toy; I got a few things at HL--ATG refills, some burlap flowers, and a couple of plastic jars to organize my washi tape; and we got groceries at Walmart.

Here's my layout:

How cute! I absolutely love the colors and the whimsy of your layout!

Very pretty! And I love that you made it YOUR favorite color! (yes, I remember purple is your favorite color...aren't you impressed with me? lol)

Yeah, that's good to have another car available. HOw long is Mike expected to be laying low?

I still have to drive in the weather/snow emergencies. They seem to think my job is critical....

He has to avoid strenuous activity (including work, since he's a paint contractor) for 7 to 10 days.  Hopefully, seven will be it, but that takes us through Thursday. ;)
I really feel for everyone who is a nurse/doctor or works in a hospital.  Weather is terrible, but you have to be there, and then there are the idiots who didn't have to go anywhere and hurt themselves because it was just "necessary" to go shopping or out to dinner, etc.
