I did mine before the cropothingy came out so I heated the cd lightly with a heat gun where I wanted to put a hole and then punched it with my MM eyelet setting tool. I've done some since as an album and used my Big Bite on the largest hole setting. MUCH easier!

I have made a couple of ornaments. I just used regular tombow tape runner to adhere the PP. I didn't put anything over the top, but that's probably not a bad idea.


Also, Wendy "TheFiberLady" made me the most awesome altered CD a few years back. When I find where I put it I'll scan and post a picture. My DD had a "50's" theme birthday party for her 10th or 11th birthday and Wendy altered a cd with that theme. It's just cool!
