Re: the new My Mind's Eye?
I have a system... First I put everything I want in my basket. Then I look at the total $$$ amount which is an immediate reality check. Then I begin moving things out of my basket into either my wish list or my saved basket.
I order the items I have to have now. For example I'm working on a scrapbook for a lady at work and it has to be finsihed no later than May 29th. No pressure here. Anyway, with my last order, I made sure I had the items needed for her scrapbook because it is a "do in now thing". In my saved basket, I put things that I know I will need soon, but they can wait a little bit longer. Anything that doesn't fall within those two requirements goes into my wish list. By the time I thin out my basket, I usually have a $$$ amount I can live with. This always works for me. It eliminates a lot of impulse buying. Oh yeah if I see there are only a few of a particular item, I will go ahead and include that in my order just to make sure I get it before the store runs out. So far, this system has been working well for me.

yeah that's pretty much how I do it too, but I find that there is always something new that I want, so my saved and wishlist never seem to thin out.
