Hello, Cherries!

While it's not sticking, I've got SNOW!  Really big flakes blowing in from across the lake.  Another day of not getting out of the 30's!!

I've got dusting on the agenda today, as well as budgeting for the haul of medical bills from my disastrous January episodes!  Wouldn't you know . . . all of my medical issues started ramping up on January 10 . . . right after the deductibles for the year had reset.  😡   But, it will all get dealt with.

Have a great day ALL!
Snow and medical bills oh my! No bueno, Laura! (ESPECIALLY after the deductibles!)
I hope you're able to have a good day, anyway! (I'm praying it warms up there, too!!! We NEED Spring! 😂)

Hey Cherries. Still chilly here. In the 40s with wind chills in the 30s. Winter just keeps hanging on. I never did scrap yesterday. I ended up going over to my mom’s house to do more packing and clearing out. It’s exhausting both physically and mentally. Today I have to make a Costco run and do some picking up around here before my cleaning ladies get here this afternoon. I may get to digi scrap while they’re here. We’ll see how it goes.

Have a great day Cherries.

{{{HUGS}}} Barb! That’s one of the toughest things to do in life. All the memories, missing your Mom, trying to get it done quickly… I totally understand! Hopefully it will be done soon!

I slept in today.  It got down to 29 degrees here last night and my bed was cozy!  lol  The sunshine is very deceptive.  Supposed to be 50 degrees here, but only 37 right now. :)  Today, more cleaning in my scrap studio, and hopefully a few more layouts.  Then, I have to do some work designing the program for my sorority's event coming up in 2 weeks.

Brrr Laura! I hate it when that happens! It happens a lot here. Have fun designing the program and hope you get some playtime too! Stay warm!

Morning.  Not sure what I’m doing out of bed at this hour lol but here I am. Lunch out for a friends bday -she chose Cracker Barrel which is a fav of mine.

been kind of a rough week.  Rosie disappeared a few days ago. I searched. My neighbors searched.  My sons came over and searched.  And then she was back but all tore up.  Pitiful, bloody and several puncture wounds to her face.  My neighbor next door is a retired RN and cares for Rosie when I’m traveling so fortunately Rosie likes her.  She came and tended to my poor girl and treated her wounds.  I managed to keep her indoors or in the garage for 2 days and then presto bang she was out in the yard!  Don’t know how she got out. Had everything closed up and blocked.  lol. At any rate she’s fine and back to her regular schedule.  She is 13 years old and hasn’t slept in the house at night since she was a tiny kitten maybe 6 months old.  So I am a bit sleep deprived from her coming into my bedroom every two hours at night to ask to b let out.  lol.

and so is the life of an old widow woman and her cat!  lol have a fun day.
Oh no!!!! Poor Rosie!!! Glad your neighbor was able to help take care of her! It’s times like this that we wish our pets could talk and tell us what happened!!! I hope she is okay. {{{HUGS}} to you too! That’s so scary!

Good luck with the cleaning, and I can't wait to see your layouts!
Good luck with the sorority events design, too! Bet it comes out great! ☺️
Have a wonderful day, Laura! 😊

I completely understand the emotions of cleaning out your moms house Barb. Hugs.

I have no plans other than scrapping for today although I will try to get out for a walk. I want to finish the double page progressive challenge and also started on an altered item. I do hope to finish both today.

😊I LOVE altered art, Louise, and look forward to seeing your new projects!!☺️

I just finished making 8 freezer meals. It's a lot of prep-work but we now have 8 meals ready to go. And because we don't mind leftovers (thanks to the economy) we really have 16 to 24 meals! My back, hip and left foot hurts but it will be worth it.

I'm now in my scrap room but I think I'll relax a little before attempting to scrap!

Oh Charleneanne, I'm sooo sorry to hear that Rosie came back injured, but SO grateful that you've got an RN for a neighbor who was able to care for her! And then she took off again?! Smh lol cats do things! Good thing for those 9 lives! 🙏🏻

Have a good day, Charleneanne!

Big hugs, Barb. Since my brother lived with both my parents, he handled most of that. He still lives in their apartment and his rent comes out of our inheritance.

Just in from walking and it is glorious outside. How the weather can really improve one’s mood. Unbelievable, but we are headed for 68degrees today. I am going to soak it all in!

Off to jump in the shower. Want to do a little cleaning, then free to create. Got a couple more done yesterday. Need to make room in one of the spare rooms for filled up albums.

That’s my day in a nut shell.

The nice weather DOES improve our moods, doesn't it, Leslee? It ALWAYS does for me, too! ☺️
Glad you've been filling up albums! That's something I need to work on lol I have a stack of layouts - probably haven't put any away since December or November but I'll get to it.. 😉 can't wait to see your new layouts!
I hope your day goes well! ☺️

Good morning cherries. Feeling pretty good today. Went on a 15-min walk this morning, washed bedsheets and been working at my desk. Will have to move over to the recliner soon, I can feel it. Ran into town earlier to go by Earthwise to pick up CBD oil for the pups. I wasn't planning on doing that until this weekend, but our rain chances are ramping up and I'd like to be prepared. Last weekend, they said we'd get about a half an inch Wed evening to Thursday afternoon. But last night, it changed to 3-6 inches of rain Wed afternoon thru Friday morning. AND NOW.....4 to 9 inches of rain between now thru Friday afternoon. LOTS of humidity in the air. And as much as I don't want it to flood, or having other issues, we desperately need the rain. Hasn't rained in a few months and we are in a Severe Drought.

Hope everyone has a great day.
I'm glad you're feeling good, Brandy! 😊
I REALLY hope it does rain a little bit NOT enough to flood, for sure! 😊
Have a good day! 😊

We were out early to pick up the mulch for flower beds.  The Preen always seems to sell out fast, so we wanted to be sure and get it now.  Thought about putting it down but we have high wind warnings this afternoon and that won't work with trying to lay mulch.  Tomorrow will be a better day.  Made some chicken soup for our daily grazing and now I plan to head to my craft space.
My sister gets the Preen, too, I think! LOL it's cool that I know what it is! 😆 😂
Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for the mulching!
Chicken soup AND crafting sound like a good day to me, Vicki! 😉 I hope you have a wonderful day! ❤️

I hope your back, hip and left foot stop hurting! 🙏🏻

Hey Cherries 😊
Was going to work today for a friend but I woke up with a fever again! 🥵
I'm pretty sure it's JUST my fibromyalgia trying to flare up! I rebuke it!
Other than that, I'm doing ok! Therapy went well yesterday, and I got a sweet card from a lovely Cherry and I mostly just rested yesterday. I WANTED to move some MORE things around but I felt kind of drained and it's probably fibromyalgia smh but you know what? I'm gonna have a good day regardless!
I'm gonna work on my collage! I have things cut out for it, and an assortment of mediums and goodies from here, so I'm excited!😊 Time JUST got away from me yesterday, but I didn't do MUCH at all! 😂
I'm feeling very blessed and I hope you ALL have a blessed day, as well, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️
