Hey Cherries. Still chilly here. In the 40s with wind chills in the 30s. Winter just keeps hanging on. I never did scrap yesterday. I ended up going over to my mom’s house to do more packing and clearing out. It’s exhausting both physically and mentally. Today I have to make a Costco run and do some picking up around here before my cleaning ladies get here this afternoon. I may get to digi scrap while they’re here. We’ll see how it goes.
Have a great day Cherries.

I slept in today. It got down to 29 degrees here last night and my bed was cozy! lol The sunshine is very deceptive. Supposed to be 50 degrees here, but only 37 right now.
Today, more cleaning in my scrap studio, and hopefully a few more layouts. Then, I have to do some work designing the program for my sorority's event coming up in 2 weeks.

I remember helping my Mom and her sisters clean out my grandparents big, old farmhouse. They had lived there 70 years. So. Much. Stuff. Lots of good memories, but yes, very exhausting. It took us 3 years. I hope you are able to take care of it in much less time, Barb. Hugs!pawprints wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 9:39 amHey Cherries. Still chilly here. I completely understand the emotions of cleaning out your moms house Barb. Hugs.
I have no plans other than scrapping for today although I will try to get out for a walk. I want to finish the double page progressive challenge and also started on an altered item. I do hope to finish both today.

Hang in there, Pally! I can only imagine all that's involved with a task like that.

Hello, Cherries!
While it's not sticking, I've got SNOW! Really big flakes blowing in from across the lake. Another day of not getting out of the 30's!!
I've got dusting on the agenda today, as well as budgeting for the haul of medical bills from my disastrous January episodes! Wouldn't you know . . . all of my medical issues started ramping up on January 10 . . . right after the deductibles for the year had reset.
But, it will all get dealt with.
Have a great day ALL!

Morning. Not sure what I’m doing out of bed at this hour lol but here I am. Lunch out for a friends bday -she chose Cracker Barrel which is a fav of mine.
been kind of a rough week. Rosie disappeared a few days ago. I searched. My neighbors searched. My sons came over and searched. And then she was back but all tore up. Pitiful, bloody and several puncture wounds to her face. My neighbor next door is a retired RN and cares for Rosie when I’m traveling so fortunately Rosie likes her. She came and tended to my poor girl and treated her wounds. I managed to keep her indoors or in the garage for 2 days and then presto bang she was out in the yard! Don’t know how she got out. Had everything closed up and blocked. lol. At any rate she’s fine and back to her regular schedule. She is 13 years old and hasn’t slept in the house at night since she was a tiny kitten maybe 6 months old. So I am a bit sleep deprived from her coming into my bedroom every two hours at night to ask to b let out. lol.
and so is the life of an old widow woman and her cat! lol have a fun day.

Just in from walking and it is glorious outside. How the weather can really improve one’s mood. Unbelievable, but we are headed for 68degrees today. I am going to soak it all in!
Off to jump in the shower. Want to do a little cleaning, then free to create. Got a couple more done yesterday. Need to make room in one of the spare rooms for filled up albums.
That’s my day in a nut shell.

OMG! I am so sorry that happened to Rosie! Poor sweet girl. So many hugs. Thankful to hear your neighbor helped you get her cleaned up. Good luck with her. Mr. Jackson will be 9 and he too comes home with puncture wounds to his face sometimes. Stresses meowt!

Good morning cherries. Feeling pretty good today. Went on a 15-min walk this morning, washed bedsheets and been working at my desk. Will have to move over to the recliner soon, I can feel it. Ran into town earlier to go by Earthwise to pick up CBD oil for the pups. I wasn't planning on doing that until this weekend, but our rain chances are ramping up and I'd like to be prepared. Last weekend, they said we'd get about a half an inch Wed evening to Thursday afternoon. But last night, it changed to 3-6 inches of rain Wed afternoon thru Friday morning. AND NOW.....4 to 9 inches of rain between now thru Friday afternoon. LOTS of humidity in the air. And as much as I don't want it to flood, or having other issues, we desperately need the rain. Hasn't rained in a few months and we are in a Severe Drought.
Hope everyone has a great day.

We were out early to pick up the mulch for flower beds. The Preen always seems to sell out fast, so we wanted to be sure and get it now. Thought about putting it down but we have high wind warnings this afternoon and that won't work with trying to lay mulch. Tomorrow will be a better day. Made some chicken soup for our daily grazing and now I plan to head to my craft space.

Hugs to you Barb. Such a tough process clearing out a loved one's things. I'm still waiting for a final letter closing out my mom's estate 4 1/2 years later.pawprints wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 9:39 amHey Cherries. Still chilly here. In the 40s with wind chills in the 30s. Those darn deductibles...seems like things happen after the annual reset. Snow? No thanks...We had about 5 inches all winter and that was enough for me. My daffodils and tulips would not be happy.Laura wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 9:54 amHello, Cherries!

Sunshine is good for the soul, definitely!! Mood change... How do you store your filled albums? A book shelf? I need a better system for mine. My SIL's are incredible. She has a book shelf with about 20 of them all dated and labeled on the spine.MTCanuk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 12:12 pmJust in from walking and it is glorious outside. Bless your heart, Barb! Hugs to you! I can only imagine how much work you still have to do at your mom's house..I know at my mom's house my grandparents had lived there forever and it took a whole weekend with 6 of us clearing things out, plus I'd ALREADY done her kitchen. Soni TOTALLY get it! Just KNOW that it's closer to being done! Hugs!
Hopefully you get to relax and digital scrap while the cleaners are there!
Have a good day!
